Nev
Oh happy, happy day!!! http://www.whatifmodelers.com/forum//index...?showtopic=6871 This is the resin master in 1/48, which is common practise for 1/72 kits apparantly. Now excuse me whilst I go drool some more

Bullet101
Holy cow!!! I just can't wait for this one to arrive :) It's got a bomb-bay and everything! Edited September 16, 2005 by Bullet101
Nev
I want it in 1/48  Well, theres always the Dynavector vacform... :) Seriously though, the TSR2 is a BIG plane, even in 1/72. A 1/48 kit would be enormous and much more expensive.
Tomcat Trebor
I was wondering when we would be seeing any news about this, as time is the release date is getting nearer. It does look very nice, though shame there is no cockpit pics.
karlwb
It looks great :P I would have liked to see the final kit released in 1/48, rather that 1/72 though.

Stephen
Bring on the second run of 1:72's aswell. I bet the "initial run of 10,000" are probably sold. I hope not though, I haven't pre-ordered yet. I didn't realise my favourite prototype would get this much backing or attention. Damn Internet! Now if only they'd do a 1:72 BAe Nimrod R.1....or a C-17 - here's to wishing! Apparently the first run is already sold out.I've heard that Hannants have completely sold their order out in pre-orders. I could wish for a Nimrod MR.2 as well,Airfix are supposed to announce the 2006 major releases at Telford so here's hoping for that Canberra. Stephen :P BTW for those wishing it in 1/48, I've seen the Dynavector one built up and it's BIG!!!!!!!!!
Spaced Marine
That beauty is on my list for sure!
MoFo
"Completely sold" means completely sold by Airfix, ie. the various wholesalers and distributors around the world have bought up the entire run, and Airfix won't have any kits kicking around a warehouse somewhere. They're NOT all spoken for by individual modellers, and it's possible that either the distributors may not be able to sell through all the kits they've purchased if individual hobby shops aren't interested, or that they'll rot away on hobby shop shelves if modellers aren't interested. But Airfix itself won't have any left.
Finn
How about a 1/32 one? Jari
Dave Fleming
But Airfix itself won't have any left. Which in the Uk at least means that probably they will be rare, as Airfix stil (I think) supply direct to the trade
