The new Airfix kit has the edge in external dimensions/proportions accuracy and comes with the Cheyenne turret. The the Promodeler by Revell B-17G, as well as both the Revell of Germany B-17G and B-17F kits, come with the parts for both the early and the Cheyenne versions.

Recalled another company that made the smaller tanks in resin, that being Golden Dragon, later renamed Buff Master.

I'm looking for a 1/72 set of the small, 700-gallon, wing tanks as used on Boeing's B-52G and B-52H. Is the C-17 kit you're building the Revell 1/144th scale or the Anigrand 1/72? In either case, for a ceiling hanger, I'd probably just paint the windows an appropriate, opaque color.

Lone Star Models has a resin cockpit set; also intake, exhaust and conversion sets.
