Musical_Box
:D A couple of questions about the oil wash: did you apply the paint straight out of the tube? How long did you wait before wiping it off? Was that section clear coated before applying the wash? P.S. avevo giàvisto un paio di articoli sul tuo G-91 (sempre che non si tratti di un caso di omonimia), ma qui siamo veramente su un altro pianeta... complimenti Edited February 4, 2008 by Musical_Box

P.S. avevo giàvisto un paio di articoli sul tuo G-91 (sempre che non si tratti di un caso di omonimia), ma qui siamo veramente su un altro pianeta... complimenti Ciao, yes you are right!, the Fiat G91's are mine..... about oil was on the F-4E, I dont apply any kind of transparent paint before it, since Xtra color are gloss and good resistant to oil wash. But the mixing of oil that I dit is not so liquid in that case, and the solver is "olietto diluente" for art oil colours. If you use acquaragia solvent for mixing, in that case the Xtra color or Humbrol enamel will be destroyed from oil wash, you should MUST apply acrylic transp paint. I hope you don't mind me asking you few question cause I'm really interested in your build... Are you using Sky decals for your project? Why did you panted and weathered the tail before......don't you belive in painted the whole kit together? Btw, welcome to ARC...
