Ok guys, lets see your pics of intert ordinance.

from AIM-9s, AGM-65s, Mk.82 GPB to GBU-8s and so on and so forth

all the pics you have!! lol

also would be nice to see all the different types of seaker head covers and RBF tag possitions.

might i add that the AGM-65 has a blue band going between the fins more towards the front that says "inert" in white.

il see if i can find a pic.

Did the AF always use just the blue stripe to designate an inert round? Going to build a TN ANG F-104 with an inert loadout and want to get it right.

Yes, but the USAF (and the USN until an even later date) did not always use inert missiles. Sometimes the missile was a live round wired in such a way that only the seeker head was active. Of course there were disatarous results.
