B-1 Nut
About flippin' time. I thought my aftermarket decals were going to dry rot before a cockpit came out for this aircraft.
loftycomfort
Wolfpack updated their site with the following: "Su-27 Flanker Update set series roll out now." Looks like the online stores will get them soon. Woohoo! Terry [EDIT: oh wait. They're rolling out the 1/48 stuff. The 1/32 sets are still TBA. *sigh*] Edited November 10, 2010 by loftycomfort
foxmulder_ms
OMG!.. 1:32 is not my scale but I am so happy with the 1/48 flanker stuff :D Thanks Wolfpack..
Kasatka
Just a quick note on these latest Flanker releases from Wolfpack I have no idea where this guy got an idea about late wheels for Flanker. Even Su-30s have the wheels like on Su-27s. The ones he calls "late" were seen only on Su-35BM. So don't be misled and pay your money for something which is not corect The same goes for the wheel bays. All Su-27/30s fleet has one type of wheel bays (let's call it early type) Only Su-35 might have different type. But has anyone had any access to have a look? I doubt. So, Don't buy the late type wheels. They are wrong fo Su-27/30 Don't wait for the late type wheel bays. They are no "late" types for Su-27/30 Cheers Sergey Edited November 12, 2010 by Kasatka
Berkut
They are no "late" types for Su-27/30Cheers Sergey I disagree. Atleast regarding Su-27. There is early and late wheels, Ken have a picture showing both. Early had four big holes, while late had many small holes.
haneto
The "late" wheels Wolfpack suggested are actually for Su-27SM and Su-33,maybe also for Su-35BM. Normal Su-27S and Su-27P has all "early" wheel hubs, while what Berkut mentioned about are only for the very early production batch Flankers, maybe only prototypes I guess. Just my 2 cents. First link match on google "Su-27 walkaround" turned up this link: http://www.b-domke.de/AviationImages/Flanker.html http://www.b-domke.de/AviationImages/Flanker/0971.html Yes, they are not very common, but they do exists. Basically, there is atleast three types of wheels: 1: Early Su-27 wheels. 2: Common/Later Su-27 wheels. (Those that wolfpack calls "early") 3: Su-27SM/Su-27BM wheels. mario krijan
I agree with Haneto and Berkut, there are early (on prototypes "+" in middle),early production ( "+" in middle; like on bn 388); late with more holes inside, and another type, same with holes, but with different shape of rim (late Flankers???) Dont know differences regarding BM this is wheel from UkrAF blue 30, it is from early batches with tail stinger without boxes... Ken have nice photo about different wheels on Flankers :-) http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....p;#entry1752971 There is another one type for Su-33 Edited November 12, 2010 by mario krijan
haneto
Mario, the Su-33 wheels are the same as on Su-27SM as far as my collection tells.

Dave Williams
Great, the 1/32 items aren't out or even shown in pictures, and already there is a fight about how "wrong" they are. When did Wolfpack start getting the Trumpeter treatment?
