rom
Hello Here a few pictures of my last build. I used the recent Italeri offering, with Musthave! resin wheels and seat. The whole build, paint and weathering process is detailed in the issue n°3 of the french "Cocardes" magazine. To go further, here is my box review on Cocardes websites: http://www.cocardes.com/2015/12/visite-guidee-du-premier-mirage-iiic-au.html And a walkaround: http://www.cocardes.com/2015/12/walkaround-du-dassault-mirage-iiic.html Hope you like it! cheers Romain

Janissary
Another awesome finish from Rom, looks very convincing. In the two images below, there seems to be a whitish haze with all sorts of scratches etc. It looks very realistic. Can you explain how you achieved that look? It looks like you did a lot of different things that have beautifully come together. I'm very very impressed. http://s545.photobucket.com/user/romainfleche/media/Mirage%20IIIC%201-32%20Cocardes/IMG_8870_zpsknphqtq1.jpg.html http://s545.photobucket.com/user/romainfleche/media/Mirage%20IIIC%201-32%20Cocardes/IMG_8877_zpsljtjqqwo.jpg.html

All the weathering process is detailled with pictures in the article. So I cant post them here. Sorry. But I can tell that the whitish haze is done with an oil filter. Oil dirt with black/brown oil stamped and wiped. Scratches are done with pencils. cheers Romain
