  1. Revell issued one in the early 80s, then Revell AG reboxed it in the 90s. It’s not bad, aftermarket engines would help. Jonah
  2. 👍 Awesome, another must-have! Jonah
  3. Good review Nigel, thanks. Jonah
  4. 👍 Thanks for taking input! Jonah
  5. This turned out really nice; I just picked up the HB D/E kit and will reference your build. Jonah
  6. Would like to find 2....can offer some weapons in trade perhaps. Thanks! Jonah

  8. This guy got me too a couple of months ago; fortunately it wasn't a big loss. Jonah
  9. Thanks Dutch, I was pleased with how this turned out, though looking at it now there are several things I'd try differently. This was the third AMT/Italeri kit I built; and in the midst of the discussions about the new Modelcollect kit I found myself reminiscing about the first H I built, shortly after AMT released it in 1994. I was 15 years old at the time and could find no wrong with the kit whatsoever, so delighted was I to have a 1/72 late model B-52. Part of me wishes that I could ignore the shortcomings in the Modelcollect kit and simply build it with the same
  10. The shape looks as though Modelcollect represented a faired over C/D/E/F gunner’s compartment. Jonah
  11. The sprue with the flaps & bomb bay components looks to have been significantly revised for the better; the version pictured on Luckymodels site looks way better than the rounded, B-1 style bomb bay pictured on pg 4 of this thread. Jonah
  12. Thanks for the link; it will be interesting to see what the aftermarket offers for this kit, both in terms of details and corrections. At least the parts breakdown is conducive to replacement nose & tail parts- Jonah
  13. Those look great Mark! Jonah
  14. To pile onto Dutch’s suggestion, I think ACC T-38 companion trainers in 1/72 would complement the B-52 & B-1 sheets already released; Minot, Grand Forks, Barksdale, Dyess, Whitenan, Ellsworth, and Mountain Home all operated 38s in 36118. Jonah
  15. I’ll look forward to seeing what aftermarket emerges for this kit; and I believe this is the first mention I’ve seen of a tall tail variant from ModelCollect. Jonah
  16. I’m in....I think Kursad is producing more sheets for 1/144 USAF heavies than all other aftermarket manufacturers combined over the years! Jonah
