I had a conversation with a friend that used to be in the Navy and it sparked my interest. I looked up the fighter squadrons to learn about their emblems and I saw that many squadrons are assigned to one ship. Do the VFA's take turns being on the ship or something? because in the AF there are in most cases only a couple fighter squadrons for a whole base. Thanks
