Before I go any further. Would the F-5 aggressors generally be devoid of wing pylons and center tanks?

Looks like a Badger 200 in the picture

Nice, I haven't seen one of these in years. Your moving along a lot faster and neater than I did when I built one of these back in the 80s.

Throwing my hat in the ring with this Revell issued F-5E in 1/48 scale.

Think I'm going to jump in with a Revell F-5E and some Fightertown decals. It's going to be Bogey 25 or Cylon 23. -
RLM 76 is very close to FS 16473 Aircraft Gray and use either one depending on which I have. Late in WWII some 109s were painted all RLM 76 as a night fighter or high altitude fighter scheme.

Dann, You need the whole thing or just the decal placement? I have kit 582 and can scan the instructions ( had VMFP-3 decals as well as USAF 33rd TRTS, 363rd TRW ), https://www.scalemates.com/kits/testors-582-rf-4-phantom-ii--657006 -

After some cobbling and improvising I have some decals on the 109.

Cool, thanks!

Would I be safe to use a color similar to the red used for red staffel numbers?
-
Thanks, I'll have to check them out and see what I like. I dont know if this color plate is fictional or not but I like it.

I'm building a RLM76 109 G-10 from late 1944. Is it supposed to be a bright red? I picked up some Model Master RLM 23 and it looks a bit pinkish orangey.
-
Can anyone tell me if the Jagdgeschwader identification bands were certain RLM colors? I'm particularly interested to know what to use for the red that JG.1 used.
-
That looks real cool so far

The colored fuselage identification band for JG1 aircraft is red but is this RLM23 or something else?
