  1. Linoleum, laminate or hard wood flooring! Nick
  2. ...or nail him to a cross. Too much, maybe? The guys that were on the mission will never have to buy another drink....EVER.
  3. In the Canadian Forces, we called CF-5's, "5's". Singles or duals/duallie's, or recce bird/jet. CF-18's are "18's" or "Hornets" (Sometimes referred to by CF-5 personnel as "Twin-tailed, plastic f*g jets". LOL Pilots are 'stick actuators', or stick-rudder interface. Some names: Army types are grunts or pongos. Navy types are navy-wogs or fish heads. Air Force types are wedge-heads. I could go on.... Nick
  4. ...and a new 1/72 Mirage III, IV, F.1..... Nick
  5. What a nice painting! For what it's worth, I think a nice 'alternate universe' would be a Canadian-UK trade of CF-105's and TSR.2's.... Keep up the good work! Nick
  6. Those would be good to see! Heck, an up to date, accurate kit, with REASONABLE detail at an affordable price would be nice. Revell would be the odds on favourite. Coming from one of the colonies, I'd like to see a decent 1/48 Halifax or Hampden. Better yet, a kit of a Stirling, Blenheim or Whitley... :D Nick
  7. Looks good Erik! I saw the jet at the museum in Dayton. The actual surface finish reminded me of that 'rough surface' some kits have (I'm thinking of some of the 1/72 Dragon ones). That would be perfect on this jet! :D Nick
  8. I can relate Shawn! The old saying here in Alberta is, "Drier than a popcorn fart." :) Nick
  9. Hi Gabe, Neat video! It's a brief clip, but it could be M117's (I'd look for a solid clear pic of that first. The A-4 photo was a good example of a Skyhawk carrying them, but doesn't mean a A-7 was/was not cleared for them), or it could be a type of dispenser. As a quick note, Mk.117 is the incorrect designation, started years ago, when people mixed up the mk.80 series bomb designations with the M-series weapon designations. M117's are 750 lb GP bombs, M116 is napalm, and M118 is the classic 3000 lb. bad boy, you see F-105's carrying occasionally, etc., etc.... As an ex-armourer, her
  10. It reminds me of the infamous 410 Sqn. "Ronald McDonald" jet from the early '90's... :) Nick
  11. Reminds me of a story back in the early days of Maple Flag, and the '101's were invited for the first time. Discussing the upcoming missions, the crews asked if they would be allowed to use (simulated, of course) their Genies to, as they put it "Bring some class to an otherwise ugly brawl".. They were politely denied!
  12. Try this: http://www.designation-systems.net/dusrm/m-9.html It should sort out any questions. Nick
  13. Hi! Just a quick note, the '18's are using AIM-9M's and AIM-120's for the air-to-air load outs, and, I THINK, they're GBU-12 Paveway II, 500 lb. LGB's. Nick
  14. I'm waiting for Amodel to take the plunge. An-225! Okay, I'd 'settle' for an An-124....
