Gents, I have an ESCI Tu-22M-3 (F-15 style intakes) and a Revell of Germany TPz 1 "Fuchs" A4 and SPz "Marder" 1 A3 for sale or trade. Tu-22M-3 - some parts off sprues but kit is complete - $35.00 + shipping TPz 1 - bag sealed - $8.00 + shipping Spz 1 - bag opened but all parts still on sprues - $8.00 + shipping I will accept PayPal or Money Order. For Trade, I would take a RoG C-160 Transall or Mi-26 Halo for the Tu-22. For both armored vehicles, I would take a set of 72nd Flying Colors Viggen decals from Flight Decs ($12.00). Cheers, WARDOG

Hmmm, looks a lot like the cockpit color of the Swiss Mirage IIIRS jets. I think I used Humbrol Metallic Green for that, should be a good match. WARDOG

Glynn Jacobs replied to Glynn Jacobs's topic in Buy and sell - add scale to your title
O.K., Lets make it $35.00 plus shipping (and negotiable) OR I'll trade it for a Revell of Germany Mi-26 Halor OR a C-160 Transall. Thanks, WARDOG -
Kit is complete with some parts off the sprues for dry-fitting (and fondling). $45.00 plus shipping (negotiable). Cheers, WARDOG

Hey Duty Cat, I have the Italeri kit and it has over 20 areas or items that are not correct on the kit but, I hope the Hobby Boss kit will correct those areas. Its not a "bad" kit but it just doesn't capture enough of the details that are unique to the type (IMO). I guess I'll have to save my Zotz decals for the Hobby Boss kit! Cheers, WARDOG

1/72 Stencel ejection seats
Glynn Jacobs replied to Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy's topic in Jet Modeling
Hi Andrew, I got a nice set of Pavla Stencil seats for my (one day to be made!) Portuguese Alpha Jet since they used ex-German birds. The seats are pretty nice and they do fit the Airfix/MPC cockpit but will need just a bit of modding to look just right since the front and rear seats are slightly differen because of the canopy breakers. Now, if Madame Pavla would make a cockpit and correction set with tail end chaff/flare dispensors and ECM lumps and bumps, I could (conceivably) make a show stopper! If I recall correctly (its been over a year now), I got them at Great Models for a decent p -

Anybody have the Up-North Mirage IV decal set?
Glynn Jacobs replied to Glynn Jacobs's topic in Jet Modeling
Thanks Rick, I saved it and enlarged it a bit but it wasn't too clear. It seems the Humbrol colors are H65 (?) and H73. If I'm not mistaken, the gray was too dark and I think the green wasn't "olive" enough but we'll see. Appreciate it, WARDOG -

Hey Forseti42, According to Urban's Colour Reference Charts at: Visit My Website you will find that the FS and Humbrol numbers are as follows; 058M Blue Gray FS36270 Hu126 093M Black FS34038 Hu33 326M Dk. Green FS34062 Hu161 322M Mid Green FS34138 Hu117 and, 507M Brown FS30219 Hu118. Just go to the "SW1,2,3",etc. numbers from the Humbrol Authentic Range and it will give you the latest conversion number. I have the authentic colors and they look about right to me. HTH, WARDOG

Hey ReIRei0, Glad to see someone else with an interest in the SuE! I'm getting everything together for mine (Carpena Decals, PJ French Pilot figure, Humbrol and Model Master paints, etc.). I'm still looking for a Damocles desiginator pod and some good pics or specs of the chaff/flare units and their pylons but the biggest issue I have is getting the paints correct. Every source I use has different recommendations! Anway, after looking at the seat, it looks a lot like the Crusader's Mk. 5 seat so I have a few of those that I will change the shape of the headrest on and Voila! The seat cu
