Great job! What are you using for a riveter?
-
My favourite aircraft in my favourite cam scheme and amazingly weathered and painted. Made my day!

MAke sure you get the right AFV club tracks - both in terms of length and track style. Viper 50 has shown the correct style tracks for an M-163, but, I believe AFV club makes them in two different lengths. I know they do for the Diehl tracks (the ones with the end connectors) as it takes a couple extra links for the Chapparal and M548. The same may hold true for the US pattern tracks.

Nice job Mike! Will we see this at the WCR Contest in a couple weeks?

I could have sworn I saw a series of box art for 1/32 Sea Fury's. I might have been Hobbycraft boxes, but I just figured they were trump kits. Am I missing the page, or is there no 1/32 Sea Fury there? I was hoping for the "Cold War / NATO" version with the RCN markings.

I'm in for 2 x Sea Fury. I knew I kept those Aeromaster decals for a reason!
-
Looks like they could have crashed in a much worse spot than a park.
-
I merged all these into a single doc, but if you scroll down, I think you should do the bottom scheme...
-
Nice chipping on the skids too. Holy &^% Tom, it looks like you came within 100m of actually getting mud on your boots. Does the AF give you a buckshee holidays for that?
-
Thanks Tom, emailled you from my dnd account. My home PC has been off line for over a week now.

yes! The weathering on the low-vis Tomcat looks great! -
Hi Matt, I pretty much just followed the tute pinned to the top of this DG. The exception is that I import the jpeg as a raster right into PS (I don't use illustrator) I'm using PS7 & a wacom intuos III 6x8 tablet on a 19" LCD

a subject suggested by the fine folks at www.whatifmodelers.com No idea if the tailcodes are from a real squadron - I copied them from an Osprey photo, but it might have been a demo aircraft.

Swedish Navy What-If...borrowed from CH-46 scheme, but without the cammed rotor (propeller??) blades.

Hi Steve, I figured that the drawing was a prototype. I've made a few changes along the way such as replacing the lower side windows, adding the in-flight refuelling probe, a few panel lines etc. So its a sort of mish-mash between prototype and pre-production and some artistic license ;-)

something like this:

Yep, I agree on that. I was going by the chopper placement (ie Cormorant, Labrador) which have them on the main gear pods. But I think it should be more in line with how we mark the fixed wing aircraft. I'll revisit the SAR profile with CC-115 markings as the guide.
