  1. Hi Guys, Does anybody know of a build review (on line or in a magazine) of the 1/72 Zvezda TOPOL using the LVM Studios START-1 conversion kit? I saw one somewhere about a month or so ago and it is driving me crazy trying to find it. I have goggled & can not find it other than a build review of the Zvezda kit by itself. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks, Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA __._,_.___
  2. Thanks for a belated Christmas present KursadA! I already have the 1/72 scale sheet, Just needed the 1/48 scale sheet. Thanks, Merry Christmas! Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  3. Any chance of doing a second run on this sheet (YF-23 Prototype CD48048)? Sure would like to get a couple of these sheets. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  4. Steve, I sent you an e-mail from my company e-mail. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  5. GumDrop86 guy, I'm glad to see that you & Glenn are in contact about your order problem, I know he will make it right. Yes, indeed let us know how it turns out. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  6. I agree with you Randy 100%, Glenn's reponse here will show that he cares about customer service and like you I to think he is a classy guy. I have always had excellent transaction experiences with Glenn and always look forward to being a customer again. I am a satisfied RealSpace Models Customer! Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  7. Well I certainly do not know what the problem is but I did send Glenn an e-mail along with a link to this thread for him to review. Hopefully he will respond to all who have a problem and have a solution. I have never met Glenn & had only spoke to him once on the phone (years & years ago)but have had occassional e-mail contact with him. Like I said, I have always received what I ordered from him & if there was a problem with a kit, he always fixed it. I am sorry that some of you have not had the same kind of experience with Glenn like I have had. If I get a reply, I will let yo
  8. I ordered his Batted F-1s (1/72 scale) and when he released his new 1/144 Delta EFT kit earlier this month, I ordered that & got him to combined the shipping which I received today in the mail. I have ordered a lot of his kits over the years & Glenn has always shipped my orders to me. They may have taken 1-3 months to arrive after ordering but he always delivered. Glenn is a one man operation & he has a real day time job & a family so delays can be expected so be patient. He is an OK guy in my book. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  9. I read this this morning in the Winter 2014 issue of Vertical 911 magazine. The name change was announced back on Jan 8th, so now you guys can use the appropriate manufacturer name for your Eurocopter models. I can remember back when MBB became apart of the new Eurocopter. I guess now I am an Airbus driver! LoL! Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  10. Any chance we will ever see any USN "Low Vis" Camo schemes for the Trumpy 1/32 A-4M Skyhawk kit? I know that there are those who like the "High Vis" schemes, but I prefer the "Low Vis" camo schemes. Still waiting, Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA

  12. Check this website out, a manufacture of the helmet with a 360 degree view of the helmet. Maybe you already have seen this but I thought it might help. I have friends who have this helmet but they are not local. I will see if they can measure it for you. http://www.gentexcorp.com/assets/gentex/360/helmet.htm Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  13. Yep, I do. N911RJ has been sold to a police force in Argentina and N624MB better known as "The Duck" is also out of the inventory. Since you were working in Baton Rouge, you should have made your way do to our heliport & I would have given you the grand tour of our base. Back then we had our Acadian Bo105 N911HD & shared hanger space with a MD600N, the same one that was in the 2006 James Bond pic "Casino Royale". by the way, the 2 pictured Bo 105s are not on high skid gear. I have flown a spare Bo 105 on high skid gear back when PHI had the Acadian contract. That was an experienc
  14. Those decals for Acadian's Bo105 N911DD call sign AirMed 1 based at Lafayette Airport (Lafayette, LA). Sadly this aircraft is no longer in Acadian service and was replaced by an EC135P2+ a few years ago. I have flown that aircraft a few times over the years. Thanks for the heads up on these, now I have to find me a set. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  15. Just curious, what is the website for Penninhaus? I'm interested to know what decals they make for the "Life Flight" out of Louisiana. I fly ems on contract for Acadian Ambulance in Baton Rogue (AirMed 3) so I was wondering if those markings were offered by them. Anybody know where I can see the decal sheet? Thanks, Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  16. I have had my 2 kits for little over a week now & as far as accuracies, I can not comment on any other than what others have said already. One glaring problem I wanted to see corrected was to have the first stage F-1 engines molded with the "Batted" insulation installed but you get the typical F-1 engine as found in the 1/96 & 1/144 scale injection kits by Revell, Monogram, & Airfix. My kits have lots of clear parts & a base with a big sturdy rod. Sprue Brothers has a good deal on them but I got my one of my kits from Tower Hobbies taking advantage of their $15 off any order
  17. You might find a Eurocopter EC-135 kit maybe in 1/72 or 1/48 scale. Depending on how big it is on the depicted aircraft, one from a 1/32 scale kit may do. From your picture, the basic outline looks like that of an Ec 135, you would need to build up the mounting to the fuselage though. Hope this helps, Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
