  1. Sounds like we're gonna be a busy bunch! good luck with everyone's projects and plans
  2. I'm very excited b/c I have some free time coming up this weekend. My girlfriend has to work all weekend and she said I had the weekend free to do whatever. I'm planning on finishing my SH-60B and a MiG-15 I've had sitting on the shelf, all the MiG needs is the landing gear and decals. My Seahawk needs a few tiny things here and there. Ready to finish up some WIPs so i can put them on the shelf start another kit. Also planning a hobby shop run for some supplies early Sat morning, and Im gonna try to not buy another kit haha. The closest shop to me is 45 mins away, not too bad. Prob way too ex
  3. i've got 2 1/48 hasegawa tomcats with some extra goodies to go with them in my stash, looking at me, mocking me. once i think i can do them justice, its on! for right now, i'm still learning on revells and monograms. built one hasegawa viper, and got some italeris in the works too. just want to be sure i don't screw the pooch on such a nice kit as the Has tomcats. then one day, ONE DAY...the tamiya f-16. then maybe after my unborn kids go to college, i'll tackle a 1/32 tomcat. hehehe

  9. thanks, that might be the best i can get. i may try and scan in my instructions, and try to scale them up...
  10. Hello, I'm in need of a set of accurate 1:48 scale overhead, side profile and underneath drawings/profiles of a MiG-17. I don't need vector, I just need a clear JPEG or any other file. I'm creating some special decals that was an old project of mine that I'm digging back up Any help would be appreciated...
  11. just pay for shipping and you can have them, or i'm throwing them away. I need the shelf space, the kits arn't painted that well, built when i was young. complete and have all parts, so would be good if you needed parts. let me know if you want them, i can snap a pic if you want. Maverick NOTE: US Only please
  12. er, uh, yea, thats the one i was building!!!! hahah i think i might leave it! thanks Joseph lol
  13. ah didn't think about that. i would have thought he'd have his name on the side maybe, or perhaps on the F-86 he flew in Korea? Good point model junky.... guys like boyd said, i shoulda done my homework!!!
  14. I can't believe we don't have decals for John Boyds aircraft. He was the father of the F-15, F-16, YF-17 (F-18) and contributed to so many other aircraft developments. If you haven't read BOYD, you need to. It was uplifting, educational and gave me a new way to think about things. So how 'bout it decalers, can we get some Boyd decals for his F-100 at Nellis? I found this has been asked before, so I'm getting behind it too. I've gotta Hun thats waiting for Boyds name. info links from the web: http://www.aviationarchaeology.com/src/BoydF100.htm found this here: http://www.arcforums.com/foru
  15. wow shep! thats a beautiful bird! wish mine would look that good, thanks for posting those pics, and the tip for the front windshield
  16. i'm def gonna pick this one up! looks awesome!!!
  17. oh ok gotcha, well i may have another star i can use and just paint over this one b/c i don't think i can turn it around. Thanks for the clarification, i think i put it on according to italeris directions, but i may be mistaken...
  18. hey kelly, what do you mean check the star and bar? i did a google search and looked at a ton of images, and the only differences i can see is that mine is too white maybe? I can thin down some paint and try to knock it back so it doesn't stand out so much... if thats what you mean...
  19. I've been wanting to finish and shelf this helo for over 2 years. So I made a pact with myself to build all in progress models before I start or buy any more new kits. I just finished a viper, this was next in line. I'm doing this one completely out of box, no additions. In fact I can't wait to finish this one so I can throw the box away! I wasnt going for accuracy or a perfect build, I just wanted to get it finished as motivation to get the next one done, as I've got a few kits that i'm looking forward to starting. The bird is almost done, gotta put on one door, weapons, and some other tiny
  20. very nice! i like it...just finished a viper myself, and i'll be watchin you build this one! makes me want to build another one already! haha
