  1. Guys They (the ACS pits) are coming. I asked him the same question, before the forums were wiped away. He said some time in early February, as he hopes to bring a bunch with him when he goes to help Gordon move. So it should not be too much longer. Aaron
  2. Yeah, that is in the CJ kits though...which means that no, you don't get them in the older boxings then. You get some funny looking launch rail that is longer than the -129, and has some wierd extension on the back of it. Okay...looks like I need some LAU-129's then.....anyone? Aaron
  3. So, are the LAU-129's the one provided in the older kits? And, honestly, no I have never seen that load either...when i was talking to the Fresno PR guy the other day, he said any combo of six missiles, so I thought that one would look good. Maybe I will go with the load you suggest though. Thank you for your help. Aaron
  4. Hello I have another question about my Fresno ANG F-16. I want to put AIM-120's on stations 3 and 7, and AIM-9's on stations 1,2,8,9. I know that Fresno can load -120's on the wingtips, so they must have the newer launchers there. My question is, should the -120's and the Sidewinders (stations 2 and 8) all be on LAU-128's? Or are the different launchers provived for the AMRAAM's and Sidewinders in the earlier Hasegawa kits still okay? Thank you guys for your help. Aaron
  5. Brian Where do you go to get your NACES seats? I am looking for a couple sets myself. Aaron
  6. Hello all I just picked up some Tamiya primer at the LHS today, and of cource, the instructions are all in Japanese. I need some help figuring out how this stuff works. How many coats do you put on? How long between them? And how long till it's dry. Is it acrylic, laquer, or Emanel? Anyways, any advice will be more than I know now. Thank's for the help. Aaron
  7. Title says it all. I recieved a Black Box F/A-18D cockpit set today, and I am just wondering whether the seats are the older SJU-6 type, or the newer NACES seats. Thank's for the help. Aaron
  8. Recieved my F/A-18 Multipurpose set and F/A-18D pit from Bob today. They were packed very well...could have dropped them off of a 10-story building, and they would have been fine. Thank's a lot Bob! He's helped me out with a few things in the past, and has asked for nothing in return. Now that is a Great trader. Aaron
  9. Cutting Edge makes a set. The stock # is CEC48302 and the website is www.meteorprod.com. They are $17.99, and you have to have a 25 dollar minimum order, but there are canopy masks and decals available for them too, so it should not be a problem. Just look up P-61 in the search function. HTH Aaron
  10. Where did you order them from? I have looked at Spruebrothers and Squadron with no luck. I am looking for several sets for my Hornets I have planned this year. Aaron
  11. Do you have to cut the Monogram kit for these to work? I have mine painted and finished already, but don't have the fan blades in. I have been waiting for Darren Robert's intake covers, but if I can have the blades displayed, I would rather do that. Aaron
  12. Great pics...man I miss seeing them flying overhead all of the time...thank's for memories! Aaron
  13. Thank you Karl I will probably go for the CE ones then. I am still not positive on the donor thing...I guess I will make my final decision when I have the Italeri kit right in front of me and can compare the two. Aaron
  14. Karl I am getting all my stuff together for my Shocker...been watching your thread here pretty closely. How are the jamming pods in the kit? Are they decent, or should I got with the CE ones? They're $12.99, so not too expensive, but since I am going to be buying the Italeri kit as a doner (going to convert the Revell F) I'm not going to spend another thirteen dollars on someting that is not going to improve the look much. Thank's for your help. Aaron
  15. I'd say the camera works just fine...beautiful picture. Thank you for sharing it with us! Aaron
  16. Hey Guys... Well, my dear wife is awesome! Today she bought me my compressor. A Craftsman 1.5hp, 125psi max compressor on a three-gallon tank. I am so excited to get this thing running. The next few days is going to kill me as I wait for my new airbrush and moisture trap to get here. I can't wait to try it out. It has a pressure guage and regulator, so I can keep it right where I want it to be, and three gallons should keep me running for plenty of time. Well, I just thought I would let ya'll know that I am in business! Have a good night! Aaron
  17. Okay guys, Here's another question for you. I am going to be running more and more acrylics (xtracrylics mostly) out of my Aztek A470 airbrush and need to know what a good PSI setting is for these paints? I will be using Model Master enamels on occasion still, but not often. I just want to know, so I can find a compressor with the right PSI range. I'm going to have a regulator and moisture trap on it, but if the thing can only pump 15 psi, regulating it at 30 just ain't gonna work. Thank you guys for your help so far. Aaron
  18. Hello All Never hesitate to do business wtih Jarrod Cunningham. He is great at communication, pays instantly, and is just an all-round pleasure to to business with. Thank's Jarrod! Aaron
  19. Couldn't agree more. But with the baby in the house, it's a little loud...and you guys are right...a little overkill. I was just wondering if it was even possible. Aaron
  20. Hello All I am looking at getting a compresser for my airbrush, and was browsing around on E-bay. Would something like this even work on a regular, hobby-style airbrush? With that 20 gallon tank, you would never run out of air during a paint job! Campbelt Hausfeld Air Compresser that can be used for Nail Guns, Air Tools, or anything that requires compressed air. 5 HP 20 Gallon Adjustable Air Pressure 125 PSI Max 120 Volt
  21. Ditto. I like the asymetrical load-out too. Very nicely done. Hope my Super Bugs (I have four planned for this year) turn out that good! Aaron
  22. That's interesting...anyone else notice how the nose gear is almost completely in the well before the mains start coming up? That's a little unusual. The plane's growing on me though...kinda like it. Aaron
  23. Looks very good...it almost has a "sexy" look to it if you ask me. Great job. Aaron
  24. GBU's on Navy birds can be several different colors, or shades of colors at least. The gray you see on Navy/Marine bombs is Light Ghost Gray. Sometimes this can be the only color on the entire bomb. Other times, just the body of the bomb is Light Ghost Gray, and the control surfaces are Olive Drab. Some times, this is reversed and the body is olive drab, and the control surfaces are light ghost gray. They can also be just olive drab, which brings up a whole nother issue. The bombs themselves are ofter kept out in the open in bomb dumps, and fade very quickly, whereas the guidance fins are k
  25. Okay...Thank's guys. I really do appreciate this help that everyone has given me. Aaron
