  1. The camo painted ones in the photo above, are acually Maras (ex Peru) , not Daggers/Fingers.
  2. Carpena (CP7236 ) did once a set for desert storm machines, including a kuwaiti BK :

  6. Hi ! Here's my latest build (started almost 8 years ago :)/>) , the old Hasegawa Mirage F1c converted to a SAAF AZ. Rescribed, riveted and with some scratched parts. Most of the decals were home printed. The WIP here : http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/4700-mirajuri-sud-africane/
  7. It has been posted before, on Britmodeller. It was actually a dark blue color, check the ramdome's color and Kelly's shoes and suit :)/>/>

  10. Hello! I have just finished an old Fujimi kit, Ki-43-I Hayabusa , with some scratch detailing in the cockpit and a riveting job. The canopy was replaced with vacuformed one. Markings are from a BestFong decal sheet, with modified serial number.

  13. Hi, My latest builds, three Az model kits. The AZ model kit is excellent, apart from the "skinny nose" . The "in progress" here : http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/13705-serbanescu/
  14. Thank you for your kind words, My pleasure, drop me a line on private message and I will help, provided I still remember what I did back in 2008 :)
  15. I've seen it first hand at Mosonshow. An amazingly fine model !
  16. Your built left me speachless. The pics could easily show a 1/32 kit ...
  17. Great! Please do not forget the special "souris" on the SAAF F1AZ. The intake cones are longer on that version. the classic intake cone : The F1AZ:
  18. Hi Dragan!, i'm also not an expert in f-16 but shouldn't the block 40 have a bigger mouth and different ehhaust than the 50/52?
  19. Your little Yak looks excellent. I love the weathering also ! Ed
  20. It looks Amazing !!! Your attention to such small details is inspiring . Ed
  21. Hello! Here is the latest addition to my collection, an old Italeri Hornisse . I made a little conversion based on the new info that emerged in a Revi mazine about the turetless version. Apparently they also had a revised canopy that i had to modify myself. The work in progress here
  22. Great work, Vince! A small detail that is overlooked is the size and shape of the intake cones. On the SAAF version ( and of course later on the Gabonese ones ) they were much longer, so much that they required a mobile tip to keep the door on the nearby panel clear. You can check the picture here: I started some SAAF F1's some years ago, but lost interest :( http://www.cartula.ro/forum/topic/4700-mirajuri-sud-africane/page__p__76613__hl__mirage__fromsearch__1#entry76613
  23. I finished also the set of three planned Avias. First the prototype B-35.1, made out of the old KP kit. I termoformed a new canopy and scratch-built the interior of the cockpit. Next, the second prototype, the 35.2 this time under German management. RS kit, pretty much OOB. I added the two small windows under the windshield. Also riveted some parts of the fuselage. The final production series, made also from the RS kit, also OOB. I just termoformed a new canopy and built it open.
