VG 33
Hi Here is a Republic F-84F in the French Air Force, EC 3/3 Ardennes, used during Opération Mousquetaire in 1956. This kit from Italeri but previously was from Kinetic. Everything went right when building. I put some filler between the wing and fuselage. I added a few details inside the wheel wells. I discarded many decals because the French roundels were wrong (usual) and I prefered painting the stripes. As the engraved lines are on the heavy side I did not put any wash. Andre
Nice! It's always good to see Suez stripes on a model. Cheers, Andre
Ollie 17
You did a super job. I wish you always the very best.
Rampage55
Beautiful work Patrick!...Your NMF looks fantastic. Good call on not using a wash, I think it looks terrific just as it is. I have not seen a model of a French Air Force F-84F, as they appeared during 'Opération Mousquetaire' in 1956. Cool stuff!... Now I have to have one to go next to my Suez Seahawk. So, My only negative critique would be... More pictures dude! Mark

Unit19
Great job! I'd like to see more photos also. Any idea how the Italeri/Kinetic kit compares to the Monogram kit?
VG 33
Thank you. Well, if we compare to the Monogram kit we can see they are cousins at least. Cockpit and wheel wells are very close. The wheels are better in the Kinetic offer. The big difference are the panel lines which are deeply engraved on this kit. I had the opportunity to compare both kits as I had a Monogram one re-issued by Redux in France. Now a couple more pictures from a higher point of view.
