Finally finished enough for photos. Wasn't the most fun kit to put together with some of the curves making it hard to sand and fill (not to mention paint) but its still an impressive looking bird.

Gaping holes between the intakes and leg pieces and intakes were filled with magic-sculpt and I faired over head on the spine to create a more streamlined look. And of course the splintered paint scheme.

Clear coat gave me fits and that let to a number of finishing issues but I wasn't too keen on the idea of stripping and repainting.

dude - that is seriously freakin' awesome!!! I can't see any flaws in the finish, but then I'm not really looking for any either. I'm a HUGE fan of splinter camo and that is one extremely well done paint job. Fantastic color combinations too
