GreyGhost
Fantastic Tomcats Scooter ya got going ! I remember seeing them in this scheme when I was a kid attending the El Toro airshow each year .... -Gregg

JesniF-16
Your Scooter looks awesome Mark! Your photography looks great too :thumbsup:/> I could recommend studying the reference photos and maybe adding some fluid leaks & streaks to the underside using pastels or watercolor paints... If you make a boo boo or overdo it, usually some soap & water will remove it... If not, I use a little 91% alcohol only because i paint with enamels!!! Can't wait to see the finish! /Jesse

MarkC
guys - thats why i come to this forum ! a million thanks again. I studied a lot of photos of scooters some from my aeroguide book. The weathering really varies on them but generally -- what a lovely clean aircraft (need to do a low viz so i can get grimy) I going with dirty streaks underside - normal. some chipping to the undercarriage. The ? non slip? portion of the wing needs fading. also im going to selectively re-colour one or two panels. I will get it done soon -- thanks again gents. best Mark

Der Grüne Punkt
Hey, lovely scooter!, I think you wheathering look just fine, I wouldn't do much more than a few streaks as the other members suggested. Here's mine which is much more dirty, it may give help you decide cheers
thegoodsgt
Mark, good observation on the non-slip walkways. Given the degree of weathering on the airframe, you probably need to fade them a bit. Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
Darren Roberts
I'd leave it at that. Unless they were in combat, the LGG/White scheme didn't get all that dirty. As others have said, I'd add some streaking to the underside, but other than that, I'd call it done.
