Alex to Rome,

His model is getting great!

I have nothing on the 68-17365. Sorry.

You, sir, have some mad skills. Great job on the engine! Your work is inspirational.

Ray

Thank you Ray!

I hope he gets well enough when reach the end result.

That's crazy insane modeling skills.

AND THAT'S IN 1/48 SCALE!!!!!!

Tim

Thanks Tim!

Really the 1/48 scale makes the more difficult job, but I like challenges!

Midnightprowler

Thank you!

I hope to meet expected!

Alexandre, this is the best 500/H-6 I've ever seen in 1/48. What you've done to the Academy kit is truly incredible!

Are you still intending to do the smaller OH-6A rear doors and larger overhead windows?

Tank you K5054NZ!

Yes, I will provide the correction of the upper windows to bring the kit to the OH-6A model used in Vietnam.

I have not decided if I will use the front and rear doors...

Hi there,

meanwhile Alexander is working on its Loach, the mine is next to end.

It will be parked on PSP managed by Lifecolor 'rust & dust' set.

Come on Alexander, I'd like to see your painting (and weathering)!

Alessandro

Alessandro,

The work in its OH-6 is getting great. The painting was also good!

But I'm not the best person to give you tips on aging paint.

See the work of Oliver this model 530 and note the applied wear. Can help you in your model.

To all: I am preparing photos of the rear seats to post here. I apologize if my work is slow, but have very little time for hobby and this makes it very difficult.

But I will not fail to show the results here (or fail to post the completion of the model).

Thank you all!

Greetings Everyone!
I studied the helicopter as their rear seats to see its various details ...
OH6A_350.jpg
OH6A_351.jpg
The seats can be folded ...
OH6A_352.jpg
OH6A_354.jpg
Or even removed ...
OH6A_353.jpg
The seats provided in the kit are not very realistic ...
OH6A_355.jpg
The actual seats have pipes covered with tarps ...

OH6A_357.jpg
I designed the layout of the pieces ...
