viperbite
With some additional painting, weathering and decaling, now I could finally glue the fwd fuselage together. 20191223103858 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 20191223103915 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 20191223103923 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 20191223103938 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 20191223103945 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr
delayar
Fantastic work! I am happy if achieve this level of detail in 1/48, but you do it on a smaller scale yet! Looking forward to the finished build! Cheers, Markus
crackerjazz
That's some remarkable cockpit painting, viperbite! Very impressive. At 1/72 that must have been torture for your eyes -- but a real feast for ours : )

viperbite
Some little progress... Since the wheels from Truescale, which are great, have low pressure that the real aircraft won't have on board the carrier, I have to redo the wheels from Reskit. And I finished some post shading on the main frame. Thank you for watching Edited February 3, 2020 by viperbite

shion
Nice! How do you achieve this grime on the main and nose gears? Enamel or oil paints?

viperbite
After finishing the decals, I sprayed another layer of clear coat, then it's time to weathering the stuff. The port side is weathered with oil paint, while the starboard isn't. 無標題 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 無標題 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 無標題 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 無標題 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr 無標題 by Brent Jin, 於 Flickr Thank you. A-10 LOADER
Everything looks amazing, especially in 72nd scale but, those engine nozzles look too brown IMO. They should be more silver ( Alclad Duraluminum ) with a touch of gold ( Alclad Pale Burnt Metal ) mixed in. Steve "TOMCATS FOREVER, BABY...!"
Honza K.
What did you use as a color for exhaust color? It looks like old GSI Steel.... But I bought "steel" before few days and now looks much different then before... (is without this "brown" shade)... Thank you.
