Wasserfall
The side frames on the coaming may be a bit warped. The side you pointed to with the red arrow looks like it has lost its' curve. A little heat with warm water or a hairdryer should fix it if it isn't flexible enough to glue in place as-is without mis-shaping the vacuumformed piece.HTH Oke i will try that, thanks How are your intakes doing (me asking very carefully and humble ;) ) Maybe you can find some time for your build one question, did you made the master of the canopy frame scale 1:1 because it's such fine work  :P

Wasserfall
Today is a sad day, because i ruined my windscreen :D It didn't fit right so i dipped it in hot almost boiling water to bend it a litlle after some try outs it looked to go well, but the last attempt i left it to long in the hot water and now......... see the result It is totally misformed now, so i guess i have to order a new one :( So be carefull with hot water (as my mummie always said)

Wasserfall
mmmmm. how do i remove a post?? Edited December 18, 2005 by Wasserfall
Wasserfall
Today a litle update, The Aires wheel wells and exhausts have arrived B) It took me some sanding and cutting work, to fit them in ( i don't like sanding resin) but they fit in now, still unpainted. On the picture i made some enlargements 1: because the wells are very detailed, i decided to add the fuelpiping etc. this is a start made it from plasticsheet covered with alufoil (in fact from chocalate coins) 2: sanded a slope where the frontgear lies in when it is retracted i stopped working on the cockpit area because when dry fitting and sanding the wells some litle parts snapped off, so first i do the rough work Hope to post some more soon. :) Edited December 18, 2005 by Wasserfall

Wasserfall
After spending too much hours on the fuelpiping, i had the need of showing them to you ;) There are still some fuelpipes to add (and other hydraulic or pneumatic piping) Used soldering wire mostly, alufoil from chocolatecoins, and some Tamiya tape But now i have the courage to go on with these $#@$# pipes Guy: just saw your new add well that's a challenge, looking very good, i know how small these are Oke here are the pics. Cheers Edited January 15, 2006 by Wasserfall

geedubelyer
Great work on the wheel bay Wasserfall :( You've really captured the "busy" look of the original. Very convincing plumbing my friend. All of that work is definately paying off. And when you get some colour on there, it really comes alive. Keep it up. :D
Wasserfall
It's getting busy in Flankerland, keep them coming! While waiting for some parts!! to arrive i did some work on the horizontal stabelizers which as we all know has the (again) wrong position of the swivel point, so i tried to correct this if possible see pictures. According to pictures i glued a brass tube in the right place where the stabilo is hinged Using a steel pen to attach it Just to get an idea The area where the stabilo meets the hull is to thick, so sanded it a bit down, but there is also a gap to fill up As can be seen on this picture The final pictures show how it will look when everything is in place, but before sanding and tweaking i have to glue the hull together, the cover and the verticalstabilizer needs some work too That's it for now, now i'm going to wait for the postman ;) Edited March 12, 2006 by Wasserfall
