janman
I'll sign up for that petition!
Wasserfall
Ha ha, i like that about that petition A litle explanation from my side why it is taking so long. I also are a flightsimmer playing Lockon (Flaming Cliffs) an attend at game party's with our demoteam, Dutch Flanker Display Team and whe had some busy times lately. And to complicate things more i am building a full scale sim cockpit (which also wil take some time) Beneath is a picture of the instrumentpanel, it is a start so many things are missing still, but i am working on it When i can find some spare time i will continue with my build, i promise :D Thanks for the replys though :(
Wasserfall
If you like i can add some more pics of the cockpitpanel, albeit of topic
Wasserfall
did some work on my full scale instrumentpanel. next to the arrow is the 1 to 32 scale cockpit of my su27 If there is some interrest from you i could post some more
OKB Krasnaya Zvezda
Fantastica build...both of them!! BTW I`m a Fan of Lock on too but I spend more time loading a game than playing it because of my crapy PC. :D
skuki
 Geee, How did you do that ? Looks fantastic !! Please, post some more pictures !!
Wasserfall
On request, some more pictures. Note the panels are not finished yet, stencilling and warning lights etc. still have to be added. I have also pictures of the way i made these panels, so if someone is interrested? Thanks for watching B)
mickey
Stunning work - and yes the "how to" pics would be interesting I'm sure. Almost as interesting as how you'll take on the rest of the build!! Cheers, Mickey
Wasserfall
First of all, Happy New Year to all Most of the detail work on my panel is finished, now i have to integrate it in the fullscale cockpitsimulator, but that will take many time, so for now this will be the last offtopic post regarding the panel. When time permits i return to my 1:32 Flanker build. Thanks for watching and have a good (building) year
Flankerman
First of all, Happy New Year to all Most of the detail work on my panel is finished, now i have to integrate it in the fullscale cockpitsimulator, but that will take many time, so for now this will be the last offtopic post regarding the panel. When time permits i return to my 1:32 Flanker build. Thanks for watching and have a good (building) year Fantastic finish !!! Are those tiles coated with Future/Klear ??? I have read that someone actually spilled some on the floor - and found another use for it! Seriously though - great work on the instrument panel - and the 1:32 build. Happy New Year :D
upupandaway
What about your Flanker? Is she still alive? I´ve been away for some time so have I missed anything? Because I´m really missing some new pictures. Greetings!
Wasserfall
Yes i know, it has been ages ago, my apologies, for that it took so long :D But yes she still is alive, and i like to finish my Flanker this year! Wasserfall
A litle update, Did some work on the slats, and after looking at many pictures i made them as they are now. At the end they seem to get a bit thicker In this picture it looks as if they are bending down a litle. So i bend down the underside of the slat and filled it up with evergreen strip (very rough) Other angle And this is how it looks at the moment, not sure if i'm satisfied though, any opinions? and Sorry for the poor lighting, but it is very dark in the Netherlands at this time of year ( rain, rain) If you have any suggestions, please post them. Thanks. Wasserfall Edited January 26, 2008 by Wasserfall
Aggressor Supporter
Nice!
upupandaway
Hi, I think I can make out in the picture (the other one in your post doesn´t load, however) what you mean and I believe you´re right because it looks really a little bit like a different shape there. I find your results very good - there´s nothing I´d complain about. :D
