Here the pics, adapting the cockpit, before the painting. make it fixed it was hard work, is my first time using resing parts too, so.

Well I used "Light Ghost Gray FS36375" because the Phote Etched consoles comes in that color...

Painting with gloss Black the cockpit, and now only with my brush, I have to fix some areas and anothers ones I have to use the Photo Etched Parts.

Looks real good so far! All of the F-14 kits are a challenge in different ways. If you need any help, don't look at me I don't know what I'm doing. Seriously, it looks like you under control and have it well on the way. Look forward to seeing thew progress.

Now, just with brush, also I have added something of the PE of Eduard, it helps to give more quality of the cockpit.

I have to paint a few butons with red and yellow, later a thin layer of GlossCote and the Dullcote; after that the frontal consoles. There the images.

First step completed, now the wheathering, after that the glosscote and the dullcote

The next step make the frontal consoles, and make it fixed.

Now the panels of cockpit, as the detail of cockpit is for the F-14D I must fix it with the PE of Eduard for the F-14A, so I had to remove some details of consoles, all almost, single in fact has left with the Ptid.

The Front Consoles, first the respective washing soon painted and weathering.

In addition it is necessary to advance the well of the frontal undercarriage, to be able to have all ready one and to fix the cabin to close this zone, and build another area of the tomcat. There the images go to them.

Working the front consoles

I have to used some parts from the kit, From the PE to make more realistic this cockpit.

For the front part of the fuselage not only the cockpit enters, but also the main well of the front of the undercarriage, so to paint and the weathering. The weathering previously of the white parts did not like to much, so I probe a new product, cheap abundant and of easy application, soluble in water, which looked for to make this type of wearing. The product is an additive that uses to give it coloration to the concret, has of blue, black, ocher color and other, is granulated that just remains in the turns of the model which we want to soil, for my perfect. here the images.

Continuing with frontal consoles Pilot and RIO, some parts come from the PE, that gives enough realism, I like my progress, but Now come the hard part, make to fix in to the cockpit.

Now the details for the front consoles, I have to use the films provide for Eduard´s Set, I don´t use the color PE because the film came with more detail, so it give a more realistic look.

And Again a have to Fix the PE and the resin parts.
