gregax
Here it is! My first ever P-51D and my first ever Alclad effort. I can't say anything but good things about the kit, Aeromaster dacals are fantastic, i hogly reccomend this kit to anyone who likes snap-together kits. No filler needed at all. Now, let's move on to the pics. Cockpit: And the finished model:
nimrod77
Very nice work mate, Which alclad shade did you use? It's very convincing :D Love it!
Collin
You nailed it....nice job. Same question as above, curious as the the shade of Alclad you used. Well Done!! Atis
Rocat
This is a great "first" I like the "not too shiny" finish! Did you get it out of the bottle? Which alclad did you use? Thanks!
gregax
I used Alclad Aluminium and duraluminium. For darker shades (some panels) i mixed a drop or two of MM metalizer to Alclad (i think titanuim and magnesuim). I didn't get that finish straight from the bottle. I sprayed semi gloss coat over the entire model. (Tamiya gloss + flat base) HTH Thanks for comments.

Aggressor Supporter
Nice looking Mustang. Like the color and markings, but the cockpit work is a standout. Edited November 12, 2007 by Raptor Supporter
