haneto
So it comes,as I promised to be an OOB. (To my standard :) ) Some junk PE from Hasegawa,a home made resin seat, some rivetting work regardless of the accuracy, and cut the flaps to down postion. That\'s all I do to this \"new\" ICM kit. Hope to finish it before October 1st,our 60th National Day. It would be in Parade special scheme from PLAAF 2nd Division. Edited October 2, 2009 by haneto

haneto
it looks really good.can you explain how did you do the burnt metal effect on the engines? I used Super Titanium color on light spots while Super Steel color for the others from Mr.Color. Then use Tamiya weathering master D set burnt blue for dry-brushing. Just so easy. haneto
Thanks for the encouragements, guys! Some masking work tonight after my tiring daily work. Almost all the antenna areas on J-11 are dark grey, but the IFF areas on the tail are still in Green. Edited October 2, 2009 by haneto
Deino
Thanks for the encouragements,guys!.... Hi Haneto ... once again an inceredible build ! But just one question: Do You have a large, clear picture of one of the J-11's prepared for the 60th National Day ?? I remember the Su-27 10 years ago carried a large Chinese flag + a blue stripe ... and alos the J-10 were painted with special formation stripes in yellow, but the J-11 I havn't seen so far.
