gunpowder
I got this today from Telford IPMS show. Im currently concentrating on 1/48 US Navy planes.I usually go for lots of extra detailing , but this one will be straight from the box. Ive been having real fun lately doing OOB stuff. I know virtually Nothing about the Hawkeye so any pointers/tips/info would be good. Heres the cockpit. The detail is a bit soft , but i think it will be OK once painted. Im also not sure how much will actually be visible anyway. I dont usually use figures but i was considering seeing if the crew from my Academy F-14 will fit.

Stephen
I'm following this as I bought the French one at Telford.BTW mine had the USN markings in the box as well. Stephen
gunpowder
The panel lines are OK. Some are a little deep but nothing bad. Its really not too big I would say that the wingspan is similar to the C-47 in 1/48. The whole kit kind of reminds me of a 21st century kit. The plastic is thinner but the same quality. Thats not a bad thing by the way.
Honza K.
can you make some macro fotos of panel lines and surface datails please? Many thanks!
gunpowder
Heres the cockpit. I spruced it up a little with masking tape belts , plasticard door , come boxes and a throttle lever. Its not perfect , but it will do. Im a bit confused about the crew entry door. It seems to open onto an equipment bay.
Marlin
Oh this is so great. I'm hooked, so keep it coming. Cheers /Bosse
alessio
thanks for the other pictures... detail looks ok...i don't belive it will be possible to see so much..when the cocpit will be closed.. i'm sure eduard will do a prepainted photoetched set.....and ill buy it..cuz it's allways very usefull...and i save lot of time.. i'm counting the days....unfortunatly i guess i have still to wait a lot... Hong-kong to italy...it's a long trip!! ciao Alex
Fuji
Im a bit confused about the crew entry door. It seems to open onto an equipment bay. Yea it kind of does - here's the proof. Seriously no more I can't **** off my client
