martinV
Good Morning gents, This is my the first topic on ARC forum. Maybe somebody of you have known me due to my HH-60H RescueHawk 1/72 whitch you can see on scale-rotors.com or from some European competitions. I would like to interpret You my current project. I´m working on AH-64A from Academy. For building I used hot news from Armycast company AC 72 001 engine set and PE Zoom from Eduard. All open parts and details are scratch-built. In this time, model is before Surfacer but I add some pics from build. I hope you like it. Martin I started with cocpit works: ...then I worked on gearbox and masters of engines: ...assambling of the engines is very easy and fast: ...and finally present status:

shark 64
How did I miss this one. Thats just beautiful work and in 1/72 scale on top of it. More and more open panels and scratchbuilding on this site is showing up. Oliver
11bee
Great Apache. There are only a few guys that can work such magic in such a small scale and you are definitely on the list. Looking forward to more pictures.
Avus
Amazing work so far! IT'S 1/72!!

If I may, there's a small detail (two actually) that you did miss that will enhance your transmission even further. On the front end, towards the cockpit, are your two generators. I'll see if I can get you some photos of ours. They're 8" in diameter and white with black and silver details. Keep it up, that thing is INCREDIBLE! Jon

On the real thing, you can look straight down on the transmission. You've done an incredible job with the transmission compartment, why blank it off?! Jon
HOLMES
martin V GORGEOUS!!!
ice225
If this turns out as good as your HH-60H it will be a real stunner.
martinV
Hi all, WOW, I´m very amazed by your replays. I´m very pleased you like it. Now I prepair covers and other small parts for final painting. to Cobrahistorian: Thanks for your replays and the notices about transmission. I know that it isn´t 100% but it is so small and the open covers are small, too( I think 5.5x4.5mm) that it doesn´t mind me  . The second question about the blanked area below the rotor system- I know about it too and my collaegues told me the same. The main reason is that I have to have solidly place for rotor mounting. Makes total sense I wish we could put that level of detail into models, but sometimes the materials we work with just won't allow it. It really is a beautiful model. Can't wait to see her finished! martinV
Hi all, Today I would like to show you my next progress. I finally finished all covers. I made them from evergreen 0,13 plastic sheet, lead wires and some are from PE. Next I started to work on racks and ,,optical´´. I don´t know if it is standard using, but I like it:)
HeavyArty
These all look great. I am assuming from your posts that you make the masters for M&M Armycast, or you are the owner, or something like that. Your 1/72 sets look awesome. Any chance you will be doing anything in 1/35? A 1/35 AH-1Z or UH-1Y would be awsome. Or maybe parts for a 1/35 HH-60H?

B Company's are outside, so they keep their sensors covered with a large custom fitted tarp. We still keep those covers with the flyaway kit, however. They're held on by bungee cords. Our next new long time promised set I´m going to showi it here this week ... About AH-1Z or UH-1Y I´m thinking, but again in small scale. But it could be very difficult conversion. The firsts will be AH-1W and UH-1N I think. We are interested in 72 and 48 scale now, sorry. To Jon: Thx for explanation. I´m building bird from Iraq, so it is possible to have it on. In fact, I've seen photos of them being used in Iraq to keep the sand from wearing on the Germanium lenses. I haven't been there yet, so I can't say that I've seen it in person!
