  1. Anyone have some good pics and/or dimensions of the Astrotracker? I'm trying to scratch one for my 48th Academy FB.
  2. Just need the windscreen, but will consider a parts kit... -Scott
  3. Mine arrived yesterday, and it is terrific. As usual... Thanks Jake!
  4. Get some rest. You've earned it!
  5. Just to let you know that I received all 3 sheets(Spad, F-100 & Dark Varks), and they are outstanding. I'm running out of excuses for not finishing kits... Thanks for all your hard work and effort. Scott
  6. Super Scale did a sheet with 2 380th birds, Silver Lady and Liberty Belle, 48- 395. It's a bit old now, and I've been too skeered to use them.... Kursad's sheet looks to have much sharper images and printing, so I'm Very happy this sheet has been released. Think I'll go check the mail....
  7. Actually, my wife's money....
  8. Thank you sir. You now have my money.... YES!!
  9. Well, we can always go back to THIS thread!
  10. Don't much care about movie jets, but what about the -A models on the Desert Storm Nose Art sheet (48013)? I'd be on that like a fat kid on a donut!
  11. Oh yes. Those men were studs. Actors seem more akin to those who practice the Oldest profession...
  12. Agree. Let AMK do the 'Vark family next!
  13. Yup. -and it's going to be a great kit. AMK have proven that they do good work, and if they make a mistake, they fix it. And my pre-order price is $54.00 from Victory. How much is the Tam kit costing? How long did TrumpyBoss list the Mig-31 and SU-27 series in their catalog before they were released? It's a model, not a sucking chest wound. Waiting is just part of life...
  14. Thanks for the replies. Luigi - Just looked at the MAW 001 sheet, and it has loadout info in the instructions. Plus(!!), it is in the right scale! Now I just have to locate some pods, I think the Hase weapons set B(?) has them also. thanks for the reminder! Neils - Thanks for the confirmation. Pick - I'm using the Osprey series #56, US Marine Corps & RAAF Hornet units of OIF, and I'm not so sure about copyright, etc... It IS, however, a terrific resource to use. You can get it used for $5.44 on Amazon(I just looked). Thanks, Scott
  15. So, I'm doing an OIF 2003-04 FAC(A) bird, and have a couple of pictures of the aircraft, showing what look like 4-shot WP rocket pods. Exactly what pod are they, and does anyone make them in 1/48th? Oh, and were the ATARS birds used for the FAC(A) missions?
  16. Keep this kinda stuff up, and you'll be getting Christmas cards this year.
  17. Shoot, I'm hoping for an entire EF sheet someday! Specifically, 66-0050 Mistress of Deception, hint, hint....
  18. Yes. Pre-ordered, and at a great price!! F-111 series, right???
  19. In the Squadron Signal F-106 In Action book (1974), it shows a pic of an F-106 in Korea loaded with MER and 500lb bombs, as a gag for the visiting ADC commander. A bit elaborate, but, hey, it's the troops having fun with the Boss. I know, this is an F-4 thread...
  20. Yes. Personally, I'm just happy to hear that it's finally being released, and look forward to seeing some reviews and/or builds. Possibly something like the Flank-off on Doog's Model's blog site & youtube channel. Nice! We live in good times for modelling.
  21. Wrong forum. Suggest you place it under Buy and Sell, scrol down to Classifieds.
