  1. Another model completed this year. This time, it was the "Hornet" prototype: YFA-18A Hornet FSD #3 (BuNo 160777) on the hangar deck of the aircraft carrier USS CARL VINSON from 1980. As a base, I used a very "old" Italeria F-18 HORNET model (No. 809) in 1:48 scale – according to Scalemates, manufactured in 1980 – so almost identical to the original. This model is closest to the original, but in my opinion, it needed some updating; therefore, I enhanced it with AIRESA, Black Dog, Metallic Details, and standalone parts from the DIY kit. The decals are a very good set from Caracal Models CD4
  2. Another model I finished is T-34B MENTOR N34FU from the ACADEMY kit in 1:48 scale The model was made “straight out of the box” for that in an unusual civilian paint scheme referring to the “legendary” VFA-103 Jolly Rogers. The original aircraft from the family of BUK45/T-34 Mentor airframes was built in 1956, the last military serial number is 140846USN, construction number - BG-180; entered in the civil register under the number N34FU belonging to George E. Watson, Temecula, California . The model was made from photos available on the web - during the 2021 WINGS OVER CAMA

  5. Finally after a long break I finished work on another model . This time it fell on the prototype model of the "Hornet" : YFA-18A Hornet FSD#3 (BuNo 160777) on the hangar deck of the aircraft carrier USS CARL VINSON from 1980. As a base I used a very “old” model of the F-18 HORNET from Italeria (No809) in 1:48 scale - according to Scalemates the year of production 1980 - so almost a peer of the original. This model is the closest to the original prototype - nevertheless, in my opinion, it needed valorization; so I enhanced it with AIRESA, Black Dog, Metallic Details and stand-alone sc

  7. I am convinced that this is the last F-18E from Revell in 1:48 scale that I decided to make... Now it's time to go back to hasegawa and Meng - because more Super hornets are waiting in the warehouse... Here is the F-18E Super Hornet from VFC-12 "Ambush" ... Hope You like this...
  8. Just finished another model, this time Hasegawa in 1:72. The model presents F/A-18C, (BuNo 163733) takes on the appearance of a WWII Helldiver unit to comemmorate the 2011 Centennial of Naval Aviation (CoNA).
  9. I just finished model, straight from the box Wolfpack in 1: 72 scale + TwoBobs decals: T-2C BUCKEYE (75 Anniversary) - BuNo 156721, NAS Kingsville 1987 Hope you like it... 😉

  11. Just completed model F-18E from Revell in 1:48 scale. It was supposed to be a machine from the TopGun Maverick movie, but somehow this camo did not appeal to me, so I made aircraft piloted by LCDR R.J.Prescott, from VFA-87 "Golden Warriors", U.S.S.George H.W.Bush...
  12. Here is my contribution to the group. Just completed model F-18E from Revell in 1:48 scale.
