  1. I used the OH-ANG on my build so I have the NM options unused. What airframe are you looking for? The gray or sea scheme? Sean
  2. Beautiful build. You dont see enough models of coporate aircraft. Love the attention to detail you have. Looks exactly like a hawker!! Sean
  3. Here is the eduard website page for this model. Does say you can build models. prices at roughly $100usd. https://www.eduard.com/eduard/plastic-kits/limited-edition/aircraft/1-48/the-spitfire-story-1-48.html Sean
  4. BIG UPDATE!!!! There will be 2 ship B-52 flyby on sat, and a single ship flyby on sun. AWESOME!!!! Sean
  5. Great build. Always impressed with figures..I cant do them at all. btw...the forgotten item..headset? Sean
  6. Yep...I just snagged a factory sealed 1/48 promodeller B-17 for $40 and opened it sitting in the car in the parking lot!! I really wanted to see the decals and the crew members included in the kit..I should have a youtube review of the kit online soon... Sean
  7. Canada's only airshow this year is taking place on Sept 12-13 in London Ontario. it is a drive in format and tickets are still available. there will be no statics, vendors or displays, just flying aircraft. I will add more to the list as I hear them...there are rumours of some significant additions soon!! Current list of performers: Airbus CC-150 (A310): RCAF (refueling demo with 2 CF-18's Boeing B-52 X2: USAF (that's right..2 B-52's on the Sat show, and a single ship on the Sun show) Boeing E-3 Sentry: USAF Boeing KC-135: USAF F
  8. Here is a picture I got at an airshow a few years ago. hope it helps... Sean
  9. So, I tried this out today..and it worked good. In the end, I found your ratio of paint to thinner a little off..I ended up going 70/30 or 80/20 paint to mixture to get enough colour coverage, but the paint went down nice and level and there was no splattering or build up on the airbrush tip. overall, thumbs up!! Sean
  10. I agree completely. The issue right now is time, with 3 young kids it would take me weeks to do a single video if I edited every second of it and used multiple speeds. My eventual plan is to get a newer camera for the desk that use the current camera at my paint booth, and as the kids get older I will also have more free time to spend on fine tuning the videos in the manner you mentioned. A few more years and they will all be in school and I will have significantly more time. i am making notes on these ideas and will try them on future videos so I do appreciate the ideas/critisims.
  11. Finally tracked down some of those nightfightes with nose art... Sean
  12. beautiful build!! nice and clean. I would make a small "ship" style stand the keep the wheels just on or just above the ground. make it out of wood with a nice stain and it should look as if it was always supposed to be that way. Sean
  13. couple of options I have used over the years -super glue or epoxy the wheels to the base - drill and glue pins into the bottom of the wheels and then glue them into holes in the base. simple push pins cut to length works fine -for the more adventurouse, but secure fit, drill and glue a small nut into the bottom of the wheel, then drill a hole and use a bolt from the bottom. This makes for a very secure hold but also allows you to remove the model. I did the once and I was able to keep the model on a shelf at home and store the base, and then set it up when I took it to events. I
  14. I have a set of the Illiad camo B-29 and I just need a model to build them with!! The way I look at it, If I am going to be spending $150-200 on a kit over ebay or something, I might as well buy the new one with photoetch and what not. Cheapest I could find was about $75 with $75 shipping..for a 40 year old box and who knows what missing from it. Sean
  15. Well..while I was trying to find a version of that picture I may have answered my own question. This site https://www.kitreviewsonline.de/revell-neuheiten-2020/ claims a Sept 2020 release. Guess we will wait and see. sean
  16. $USD...thats $75-100 CDN plus shipping a huge box. almost $200. There was one going a few years ago at the LHS and they wanted $165. Sean
  17. that is my understanding. Things have been quiet after the initial info..it was announced at...Nuremberg toy fair I want to say, but there has been very little info other than the picture. You can see the photoetch at the bottom..seems pretty comprehensive. Worried about price..although the older monogram boxings are going from $250-$600 right now.
  18. 1/48...https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-03850-b-29-super-fortress--1266044 Sean
  19. Nice..was looking at getting one of these kits just yesterday and it is nice to see a build up. great work on this so far! Sean
  20. Has anyone heard any more info on the new Revell B-29's release date. It was originally marked as "late 2020" and I have heard nothing since. I have this on my buy list and I was wondering if anyone has heard anyhting.. Sean
  21. nice. that would be worth it just to have the 2 bladed prop option. Always wanted a nice early Spit to round out my collection. Sean
