Matt Roberts
El bumperoo Funny the pics I have of Baraks mostly show Sidewinders and not Pythons the more I stare at them! <clip> (from Raymond, some of the contents of the weapons set - I could never remember exactly what he said - but here it is from a while back), Just a good news. 1/48 PYTHONS 4, GBU-15, AGM-142 (SPICY), POPEYE will come with soon.... (thread - about midway thru the thread - fortunately only 3 pages!) http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....77016&st=40 Matt Edited March 9, 2009 by Matt Roberts

boom175
Cool!! I want them now! But at the speed I build I could get them a year from now and still have time!
Matt Roberts
A quick question, does it have the data link pods that usually are found with the GBU-15 and I presume SPice and Popeye? (though maybe the Sufa has the data link internal versus the older F-16Ds) Matt

Matt Roberts
Nice job with a 2nd set. Any chance that we may get launch rails for the Python 3 so we can update our Baz builds (F-15 for non-Israeli builders). Also if we see an early IDF F-16A can we expect to see the 'scabbed on' flare and chaff dispensers that they used on the tail prior to the C models with the internal dispensers? Just a hint to look into for a future release from Kinetic. Any guess as to when the Israeli F-16D may be arriving? Matt Edited May 30, 2009 by Matt Roberts

USAFsparkchaser
Yes this great news. I was looking forward to some 600 Gal tanks for my Sufa, any projected date on that kit?
Fuji
The Derby never entered service in the IDF\AF So? Its still an Israeli weapons system that is used by several countries world wide. There isn't one available, not even in resin. It would be nice to have for lets say Brazilian and Chilean F-5s and Chilean Block 50 F-16s. From F-16.net ArmamentUp to now, no details have been provided on any related weapons deals. The aircraft will be built to standard block 50 configuration, which makes them capable of performing all kinds of missions. This of course depends on the software installments on the aircraft. No details have been provided on which mission software the US is willing to release to Chile. We can only guess that the US will not release all the software, due to security reasons. It recently became clear that the Chilean vipers would be equipped with Israeli Python 4 and Derby missiles as well as AMRAAM and JDAM. Furthermore the Chilean F-16s will lack the standard TACAN system because there is no use to it in South America. Edited May 31, 2009 by Fuji

Dingo
Why Derby??? It never entered servive with the IDF\AF/ The original Popeye (Have Nap) can not be carried by the F-16 either.. (it size and weight don't allow it)
