Hi all, I know it isn't properly eligible for this GB (being started back in June), but since I finished it today and it is a P-47, here are a couple of pics for exhibition only to get the thread started .

Academy 1/72 Bubbletop

Since this was supposed to be (initially anyway) a quick BSK build, it was done largely without external references, so any accuracy comments or criticisms are welcome. I'm also curious about the placement of the dorsal antenna mast, since it seems to prevent the canopy opening fully.

Here's my favorite previously built jug, I really enjoyed it (Tamiya kit). Gonna try for an even better finish on my Monogram bird.

Here was my First P-47 And only Second Prop, It is the 1/48 Hasegawa P-47D OOB built as the P-47D-3-RA "Slender Tender Tall" of Capt. Bill Halton of the 328th FS/352nd FG after thier arrival in England , after his first Kill a BF-109 in Feb 44'

I gotta say i do LOVE RAF roundels of US types. I have an RAF P-51 based in Palestine 1946 and I love them, have markings for an RAF P-39 and P-47 too. I dunno, call it patriotism to the soverign. I'm in New Zealand.
