  1. Yep, you're on the list bro I don't know what's worse actually, some part of El Paso or Juarez proper...
  2. I heard Juarez, Mexico...
  3. The references I used came out of WAPJ and a Brit modeling magazine. The scheme you're talking about actually was done up with two different kinds of gray and some of the stencils were a different color from one time frame to the next. The aircraft did fly combat mission(s) in support of Operation Praying Mantis. You can Google that and get the particulars. I'm out of the office right now so I don't have access to my refs. None of them are digital and I've never scanned them sooo... Fire an E-mail off to me at home/office and It'll pulse me to get back to you when I get back to the offic
  4. Man I've been spending a lot of time around UAV's these last few weeks. They can do some pretty amazing things which are even more amazing when you walk away thinking, "the thing's a freakin toy?" Some of the smaller Tier 1 and 2 one's are pretty impressive.
  5. You're taking me back man. I remember doing those back in 2000. Eight years ago!
  6. Not classified, all alien technology though that people have to know about! The Raptor's got nothing on the mighty QF-4! I'll have to pull a copy of 516 out of the nose of one of our jets, we use it as ballast in the nose of all our QF-4s....
  7. On the QF-4s, the seats remain in (they will on the QF-16 as well). They have to stay in since the aircraft is rated to be a manned flyer. Most of the hours put on these drone's is done with a pilot in the cockpit. These guys have to stay current on the airfame both through actually flying the jet and drone controlling it from the ground. They have FEF's that track their currency requirements going both ways and one does not substitute for the other. Those currency requirements are governed by AFI 11-401. As far as radar and other avionics goes, some equipment is removed but not all. Mo
  8. Yeah DOD doesn't let us use that zinc chromate, lime yellow looking primer anymore here at BAE Systems. I guess the stuff's not good for you if you eat enough of it. We use that pukey seafoam green color stuff now. AMARC still uses it though, our F-4s show up with new primer on them and it's that zinc chromate color.
  9. Man that's the first one I've ever seen done in those markings. Nice one!
  10. Interesting structure underneat the dark eagle speed brake. Lots of upgrades/mods coming down the pipe for the entire Eagle community in the coming years. Sustainment's the name of the game for the military for the foreseeable future.
  11. I have walk-arounds of both planes bud but can't get them to you for a few days. They were a hot babe of the week a couple of weeks ago on our site. We update those every Sunday. E-mail me at modelbuilder@twobobs.net and I'll get you some stuff here in a couple of weeks.
  12. Hey man, if you want some tips on the various antennas and where they might hypothetically go, e-mail me at consult@twobobs.net and I can give you some gouge. Looking good man...
  13. Brutha you got krazy skillz..
  14. That's really nice man. I forwarded this link on to Skeletor so he can take a look at your build.
  15. Either/or man but the smart play would be to launch them one at a time I think. Fire and forget missile with IR sensors on the front fins. Those are the little bumps you see on there. They've been shot from a Whiskey Cobra as well as a Kiowa as of now. This was an Army run program but now the Navy/USMC has taken over it. I know the ANG dudes in AZ have been looking at this but I don't think the AF has officially gotten any traction on this program yet. Pretty cool, very economical weapon that does the trick without a lot of collateral damage. Just the right recipe for the insurgent type
  16. If things go well, you'll soon see A-10s carry the old Hydra rocket pods with APKWS.

    F-15B/D

Not related to AESA is right but it's a visual clue that the jet has it.

    F-15B/D

Little bump aft of radome is your biggest exterior clue that it's an AESA V2 jet also.
  19. Nice one bro. Great example of what you can do with the aggressor sheet we put out. All the pieces are there, just dig up your JASDF refs and do it up!
  20. E-mail me at modelbuilder@twobobs.net bud. I have lots of pics of both.
  21. Yep, that's the one. fs35466. Error on my part.
