I would like to do an even trade of a Hasegawa EA-18G in 1/48 scale for this Hasegawa F/A-18B in 1/48 scale. Inner bags are sealed, decals look pretty good and the box is a little banged up. Looks like the kit had metal etch thats missing but I have some Black Box bits that can go with it.

The Trimaster boxing had all kinds of stuff added but I just thought by the time it was the Italeri boxing much was left out. I could be wrong and would love to know.

Looks real nice! Are all those parts included with the kit? I was under the impression that the Italeri boxing didn't have the engine stuff.

My daughter's, boyfriend's mother has has a Model X and all I can say is that it's amazing. I'm a diehard old school muscle car guy and even that thing impresses me.

I got some decals on tonight and they went in nicely.

3 steps forward and 2 steps back. I got the gear, gear bays, doors and natural metals done but knocked the pitot off and had some lifting near the aft. I dont have anymore Tamiya black and nobody close sells it. Seems I forgot to paint the canopy and windshield frames as well. My anniversary is tomorrow and Have to visit a college with my daughter on Tuesday. Things are kind of stacked against me completing this before the end but I'll see how far I get.

Yes and it doesn't look bad at all. I had just enough Tamiya black also.

I'm going to give it a go later hopefully and lay down some black paint. Have my fingers crossed the body work is good and I have enough paint.
