  1. Thnx guys!!! I appreciate you comments!!!
  2. I can call it done! nice kit, nice details, not perfect but workable and lots of fun! And this is how they look together!! Hope you like them!
  3. It is not in the kit! I just finished building it and it is not there! all the cool stuff seems to be getting out after I finished both the Zulu and the Venom!
  4. BTW Tim, I remember you built the armored floor for a kit IIRC! would you happen to have pics of your work and the real thing? maybe I'm really bad for looking on the net but in spanish is kinda hard to look! thnx
  5. It looks really nice! now that I'm getting closer to helos and getting to know more about them, I'm leanning towards them! they are really fun to build! as far as quality I haven't got a lot of experience but after building KH's Zulu and Venom, I honestly can't complain about quality! they are not perfect, but they are decent! are they accurate? I really have no idea! but they sure look cool!
  6. Interesting pic of the interior Gino, thanks! I can see there's no sheep skin on the seats! I really hope you can find it!!!! there must be a nice thing to see these birds up close like you guys can do! here is near to impossible to get close to them when they get around here!
  7. Thnx Gino, are there two different choppers in the pics or it has the cowling without the marks in one of them? do you have interior shots? do you happen to know if she still has the bulletproof floor on?
  8. I know it's been discussed before, and I did look for info on the net and this forum, but the pics I found were really interesting but got Photobucketed!! I saw many of them posted by Ray (Rotorwash) but were not available to be seen! I'm planning on building "Super 68" as she sits in the museum, with the ESSS wings and refueling probe. I'm not going for 100% accuracy but as accurate as possible. this is gonna be my third helo build and I'm planning on using the Kitty Hawk kit, I'm maybe aiming a bit too high but we will see at the end! I have been checking references
  9. I'm looking for a "doable" (for me) way to add them, I want them but I'm really bad at scratching and I'd hate to add some cheesy parts to a fairly decent model! The seat is waiting to get the belts and get glued in place
  10. Getting really close to finish line....just some things to add and it'll be done
  11. What I like most about your builds is the whole load of stuff one can learn from them, no matter what you're building and no matter how long it takes, is just one wild ride! the way you solve the problems, how you come up with those awesome scratch built details, etc, is what make your threads a real pleasure to follow!! I have to thank you cause following you has changed my way of painting models, not as good as yours but improved for sure! this helo hsn't been the exception gorgeous job all around!! one thing I still have to learn from you is persistance!! and that will to do and redo things
  12. After a short vacation it was time to paint this bird and I tried to avoid painting it in a "boring" (for me) way, so I gave it some lights and deepness to it, I liked the result but I'm kinda biassed, if you know what I mean, so let's hear your opinnions Hope you like it
  13. Gorgeous build as usual! not surprised of the quality of the job so far!!! keep it going!
