  1. I'll see what I can do definatly! I hadn't seen it until you pointed it out! one of the few times I touched it without gloves! damn!
  2. The canopy is closed! and as you can see, fitting is really good even if it was designed to be open, you just have to trim the tabs and voila, and you can see how far my scratching skills took me! I made the comunication cables!
  3. If you aloud me Oliver I'd like to share a thought... is really sad to realize this "thing" happens everywhere, I thought it was a third world thing, I live in Guatemala a poor country with lots of ignorance, One just have to get off the box by a tiny bit, to be drawn back in, One just have to be good at something and everybody tries to drop their hammers on them, that's for real life instances, but in modelling is almost the same or even worst! if one does something really nice, gets cursed and everybody starts looking for flaws and they are just nost able to see the effort and/or beauty in it! What is wrong people!? This build is not 100% accurate, so what? it has a lot of work and a lot of nice things going on and that's the whole purpose of this hobby I don't see Oliver around hammering people cause they don't do the things the way he does! what I do see is Gino stepping in every chance he thinks he has, to point out inaccuracies, even tho Oliver has stated many times, he just doesn't care! can't you guys deal with that!? I've never seen Oliver hammering Gino over his shitty paint jobs! EVER! he only mentioned ONCE! and now we have this guy jumping in for the first time just to critizice! not the model but a comment! come on! Do you really like to look like us? ...third world mediocre people? oliver you don't have to be told to keep up the good job, you are just gonna keep going! I just wouldn't like you to keep it for yourself to avoid these cons! Sorry to put more dirt on this awesome thread but some guys just suck! and I had to say it!
  4. The ones provided in the kit.
  5. Ohh I wish I knew a couple of months ago!!! it's been so hard to find references online! and since I'm not familiar with helos it's been even harder! I hope I was able to make something worth your effort! in any case it's a very nice scheme!
  6. I agree with you! after the wash it was different! in a nice way!
  7. No tail sitting problems! but I have to say that I paniqued a bit when first stood on the skids it did sit back! until the rotor was positioned in its place, no seats, no wings, no canopy installed but it went back, even with the extra weight, so the line there is very fuzzy. It stands like this!
  8. Some "fancy" shots! Apologies for the dusty surface! and until these pics I didn't notice a mould mark right behind the gun housing! I'll have to live with that!
  9. Since my painting technique is 40% technique and more than 60% luck, lol, I was affraid of not beeing able to continue with the same pattern and maybe a difference would be visible but I don't think so! or maybe I just don't want to see it hehe It's always been really hard for me to paint black parts and give them a faded look, for some reasson it just doesn't happen, This time it wasn't so bad tho And finally I got to decals! they are a bit on the thick side but Micro set and Micro sol did the job well! And I guess/hope it is starting to look like a Viper! Regards
  10. Thank you sir! appreciated!
  11. Great! I take more pics than I show, so if you ever need something that is not posted, chances are I have it documented, and don't hesitate to give me a holler!
  12. BTW the inside of the air intakes is gonna be painted further ahead...or I'll try to put a cover, cause there are a couple of sink marks and a seam that is almost imposible to cure, keep that in mind, cause it is visible from the outside!
  13. BTW if you go for a modular build as I did, you won't have to worry about fitting, I just had to trim a little bit of the lip and the placement was really smooth and it looks really good! no filler was used, here a dry fit pic Then I moved to the gloss layer and wash, I know is a bit "harsh" but as I mentioned before, I need some dirt on my models so...
