  1. Nice work, and far braver then I could ever be! Andy
  2. For anyone who has ever wanted to display a prop driven plane in flight... You nailed it!!! It's a masterpiece Fantastic work Andy
  3. My vote will be for the Night Hawk, looks cool! Andy
  4. Would pva type glue be the go? Just a drop, let it dry and add a little more. It dries clear and fills in the gaps. Just an idea! Andy
  5. That is absolutely brilliant! From the weathering to the stand, outstanding job!!! Andy
  6. I've been using a walk around on prime portal, and the pictures there look to me as though the colour is a consistent matte black. See link below! It's what I'll be doing once I've gotten past the fill, sand and prime process. HTH Andy http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/luc_colin3/sr-71_17959/
  7. The artists eye... I really admire your work, almost understand it. It's the scene in your head that dictates the end result, you build for yourself like an artist. These updates always blow me away! Andy
  8. I had a quick look and the only copies that I could find were on expense bay, listed at $110! Hopefully you'll have a better chance on the Buy and Sell section, fingers crossed ๐Ÿ˜Ž Andy
  9. Amazing scratch work, so beyond my abilities! But, that's what makes so fantastic to watch Andy
  10. Looks fantastic! Beautiful work on the Beaufighter, and you've captured a great moment!! Andy
  11. I'll be watching, as my next project is Revells SR-71 offering! Nice work though on the disassemble ๐Ÿ˜Ž Andy
  12. Beautiful work! Seeing this in person, once complete will be a feast for the eyes. Such a subtle touch with colour, amazing I'll keep practicing though... one day I might even get close to your skills ๐Ÿคฉ Andy
  13. Cool, thanks for that! I could justify $40 for a dedicated primer airbrush, too much waste with a rattle can. Andy
  14. And this is how it happens... I restarted this hobby during lockdown with the Tamiya 1/48 F-14A. A wonderful kit as we all know, then a couple more of the same era like an A-6, Harrier Gr7 and Kinetic Hawkeye all in the same scale. Next I purchased myself the MPC 1/48 Eagle from Space 1999 for my 50th, followed by the Tam Phantom, then the Tam F-35, and Revell's SR-71 and then I read this.... HELP... I'm building a stash๐Ÿ˜… Andy
  15. You never fail to bring the magic, beautiful work! ๐Ÿ‘ Andy
  16. Not a problem! Happy to help as I'm working on the same project myself Andy
  17. Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the heads up! Andy
  18. If the ratio is correct, then 2 ml is the way to go! Andy
  19. Your extra detail work is always amazing to see, but the way you apply paint to the subject is simply phenomenal. And this is no exception already! It's my favourite part of your builds to be honest. Andy
  20. I'd go with the frame, the beautiful work that you've done so far needs to be seen. The H.34 and the truck have such a level of detail, to obscure any of it would be a shame. Andy P.s I'm in awe ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
  21. That looks rather interesting! Thanks for the link Andy
  22. Damn, that pylon and TER look brilliant... looks like I follow your lead and get some after market! Nice work moving forward too ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Andy
  23. Nice work, you inspired me to pull the trigger on the purchase!๐Ÿค— Andy
