It seems that at one time there was an F-86 thread, but I can not locate it so it must be time for a new one.

F-86H displayed at McCook, NE 1997. This aircraft last served with the 104th TFS Maryland ANG. The CT tailcodes are from when the 104th was activated during the Publoe Crisis and attached to the 27th TFW at Cannon AFB.

And the same airplane painted to look like a Korean War F-86. Too bad it is not painted in RAAF markings, which would look pretty sharp.

Ok ya got me!!!....When did the US Army start flying Sabres, and A-3/B-66 and please don't tell me the Sabre is or is going to be a freakin drone :coolio:

Yep, thats a x- Canadian Sabre Mk.5 from CFB Chatham (23190) about to be blown up real good as a drone.

I can't believe I missed this thread. So many great pics of the Sabre. Especially like the Golden Sabre, bare metal ones, and find the Sabre Dog with the rocket pod on the centerline interesting.

I was at the 79 Hollaman airshow, i dont remember th F-86 but i know i have some pics of the A-3, I'll have to find them

Wow, what a good looking formation! I did not know they had so many Sabres made up in the Golden Hawk scheme, I thought just one. Well, they should go around and do an entire show with those six Sabres like the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels. :)
