jmel
I alluded to this sheet a few days ago, so I guess I'll go ahead and preview. I first saw this scheme in person on the 85th TES at Eglin back in 2012. It looks amazing and I can't wait to build it in 1/32. Two Eglin jets, two Edwards jets, and the sole Minnesota ANG jet are on the sheet. Complete with crew names, paint barn logos, and full accurate stencils. 1/48 now, then I'll do 1/32 AND 1/72. jmel
Beware, though, some of those Edwards and Eglin jets have a few extra telemetry antenna that will need to be scratch-built.

Recon
Are you going to do the F-15's and RF-4's in 1/32? Mike
B-ONE27
Hey Jake, how about tossing a SCANG Block 52 on there as well, I'm pretty sure they painted one of they're birds up in that scheme as well, recall seeing a picture floating around the web(F-16.net?) not too long ago...Swamp Fox bird would look good! strikeeagle801
I suggested it in the color thread, but I'll suggest it here too...The LockMart Delta jet in 1/32. I'm buying an Academy Sufa soon, and I'd love to put those decals on it. I'm sure there are others here that would either do the same, or covert a Tamiya kit into a Delta for those decals. That is (IMHO) the sexiest jet out there. Aaron
jmel
Jake, I just fell a l'il bit in love with you! Eh, what's a little man-love among friends? Are you going to do the F-15's and RF-4's in 1/32? Mike My plan is to do a select few of those options in 1/32 down the road, but there is no timeframe yet. I won't do it unless I have solid references, including stencils and crew names, if any. I won't guess. I personally haven't seen a 169th jet in this scheme, but there very well could be. Oh, well in that case I'll have to wait until someone produces them in resin. Too much work. Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
Viasistina
Jake- love your work on F-16's. You're the one person that I thought would be able to properly ID that new grey. Any ideas?
Check Six
Hey Jake, Does this F-16 decal sheet pertain to the new dark grey color scheme?

I appreciate your vote of confidence, but there is no FS match to the color. We're going to have to eyeball it and see what we can come up with. Soooooo, who wants to be the guinea pig? :D
strikeeagle801
I'm thinking of building my 1/32 Misawa jet in the dark gray scheme just for the heck of it as sort of a what-if or a what-may-come. So, I guess I'm kind of volunteering. If I end up doing that, I'll post in-progress/results here on ARC. Aaron

jmel
I updated the profiles to include two additional jets, as well as to fix a few small details. Jake Edited January 17, 2014 by jmel

I have had some success in the last years by simply calling the paint shop. That paint can tell us much.
