MoFo
Wow. That is some terrible, terrible box art! Cool subject, though.
Thadeus
I don't really have more shelf space for more Flankers Hope buying a new TV will distract my wife long enough to buy a new display cabinet so I can get this one! ;)

neffan01
From Nuremberg toy fair 2015. Anyone have better picture ?
neffan01
Another one ...
Berkut
I haven't seen better ones either. Will be interesting to see if they got the wings right... Hard to tell, but the horizontal stabs look Su-33 style, which isn't right. Edited February 2, 2015 by Berkut
neffan01
In the first photo, we can see the nose cone. I think isn't correct.
thegoodsgt
In the first photo, we can see the nose cone. I think isn't correct. How so?
neffan01
Yes, I think the size of nose cone is different. How so?
Flankerman
I think that's possibly just due to the painting of the white area extending too far back, neffan01. If you look at photos of their Su-33 model on display, they have got the mainwheels on the wrong way round You must have great eyesight, Berkut, to be able to make out the shape and size of the horizontal stabs from those photos... neffan01
Ok flankerman, thank you. I'm glad for this SU-33UB 1/72 model kit.I think it will be the only one on the Market. Many thanx to Trumpeter Models ;-)
hemspilot
Neffan is right, this picture has the same angle as the one from Nuremberg. This is why crews call it "crow" Compare single seater and UB Edited February 3, 2015 by hemspilot
hemspilot
Forward fuselage around cockpit ought to be deeper and peak right behind cockpit, radome should be shorter. Crews refer to the UB as "crow" because of its look, the model seems too elongated.
Berkut
You must have great eyesight, Berkut, to be able to make out the shape and size of the horizontal stabs from those photos... Ken Well, i did say: Hard to tell... And considering the sheer size of the horizontal stab on the real thing, it doesn't appear to be of such size. But hey, i will only be happy to be wrong, one less thing wrong means more chances of actually getting one...
Flankerman
Has anyone ever seen a photo of a Su-33UB with its wings folded ??? The hinge line is further outboard - in line with the tips of the horizontal stabs (which don't fold BTW). But, other than a photo of its wing in a jig (IIRC?) - I have never seen a pic of it folded.
