Incredible workmanship, fabulous painting and weathering.  Simply superb!  You're publishing this in FSM or other such model mag, right?

Far away from submitting to anyone since so much is left to do. I will reach to FSM but other top publications in Spain have reached out about the helicopter build and I have submitted few photos about scratchbuilding. Will see. Glad you like the truck.

What I admire the most about your builds, other thatn the HUGE display of skills, is the commitment to do every single bit as good as possible, which in your case turns out to be always awesome!

It's always a pleasure to follow your builds no matter what you are building

I imagine they’re hydraulic outrigger pads, shown in the stowed position?

Absolute awe inspiring modelling on display here. Can’t wait until you return your attention to the H-34.

The truck came out really nice. Hope I can pull mine off half as your and I’m good 🤣

Btw, since the helo is going to be painted in orange-reddish color which is often seen in cold areas why not something with snow? Or patches of snow? it will be a nice touch and a new challenge for you to create a realistic snow. Not many modelers can pull off good snow.

Food for thought.

Here’s another good link. Look half way down and chopper links yours with all opened up.

Thanks for all the research photos. I had done a M4 Hound in the snow several years ago. I am still debating on the dio right now. I do have some snow left.

Since you are building a well used ship, I thought you might want to see some photos of a weathered H-34 tail rotor blade.

They are in this thread....

I have the blade in my den, my photos were too large to post directly so I sent them to another member who posted them.

Hopefully they will be of use to you.

Notice the heavy wear is only on the outside surface if the blade. The side near the pylon is almost pristine

Thanks for the blade photo. I will add the worn out edge.

gluing in progress for the pre-base and edge painting. The ground mat is from a reptile store. Will let everything rest for 24 hours before I start the ground work. The last photo is what will try to duplicate.
