Tamiya F-4B Phantom VF-84 Jolly Rogers

Recommended Posts

Tamiya's superb F-4B kit. Fit, quality of packaging, surface detail and overall presentation is all what we have come to expect from Tamiya.

I have used the following accessories

  • Eduard Triple Ejection Rack 648232
  • Eduard Multiple Ejection Rack 648227
  • Hasegawa Weapons Set A for Mk 82 bombs
  • Furball Aero 48-076 decals
  • True Details helmets

The model was painted with Gunze Mr Hobby H315 and H316.

Fantastic work.  I wonder with a war load like that what the range would be even with the centerline tank.  😁

And i wonder if this loadout is even permissible launching from carrier deck! 😀

To me, Phantom looks awesome with this kind of loadout. This is Phantom in Beast Mode (taking the term from F-35). This is why I built it like this.
