1/32 Tamiya F-16C IN ANG

Recommended Posts

This is the 1/32 Tamiya F-16C Block 25 of the Indiana ANG, as flown at Balad Air Base circa 2008.  I used the CJ kit as a starting point and backdated to represent a Block 25.  The light weight landing gear and doors came from the Thunderbirds kit.  MRP paint used throughout.  Testors dull coat to finish everything.

Aftermarket items include:

KASL small mouth intake
KASL P&W exhaust
Speedhunter Graphics Decals
Flying Leathernecks scab plates
Master Models turned metal pitot tube
Quinta 3D cockpit decals (worth every penny)
Aires Block 25 wheels
Kopecky Scale Models intake/exhaust plugs
Eduard Litening Pod
Eduard GBU-12 and GBU-38

This is an awesome build. My only to critiques would be if the gear is down and it's on the ground the Leading Edge Flaps should be at 2 degrees nose up, usually about 2 inches above the centerline. I'm guessing you'd have to cut them off and reattach them, though so I understand. My other is your IFR door is way to clean. The boom scathes the hell out of those things. Still, great work and an amazing build.
