I have 2 of his relic displays. The Yamamoto Betty and a P-39. They come with a certificate of authenticity. I like them, I'm happy with them. The first one I got took a long time to get, but my understanding is he was going through a divorce at the time. I got it eventually, so no big deal to me. The second one I got in a couple weeks. I got them when he offered a 50% discount. I've met him a few times. He used to come to our club meetings (he's a helluva good modeler), and occasionally vends at out contest.

I have a Peace Maker as well that I use in my basement. I have it vented to the outside. I typically spray acrylics, but occasionally shoot Alclad. I also prime with Gunze or Tamiya primer. I run the Peace Keeper a minute or two before I start spraying, and let it run 5-10 minutes after I'm done. I've not had any complaints about odors or fumes since I started using it.

Here's a very nice 166th FS F-84F

The fit isn't great. Be prepared to dry fit, sand and repeat. But it can be made to look OK-ish.

I ran into the same color match problem when I used the Quinta set on my F-16. It looked like it had been printed with an old dot matrix printer. I wasn't impressed. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I painted the mismatched areas of the side consoles with the cockpit color. Made all the difference in the world. Gave it a light wash to blend everything together. Looked great.

IIRC, the Revell kit has both intakes and exhausts. Not sure if it had lightweight landing gear or not. Don't recall there being any major fit issues with it.

My thought is the logo was required to carry the mail in an official capacity.
