  1. GREAT Pics Everyone! Thanks for sharing them. I still don't understand why we don't have a new kit of either aircraft......I'm anxiously waiting for Trumpeter to save the day!
  2. Try doing some research on the Depth-of-field......It has to do with the F stop setting on the camera (old school - 35mm) but I'm sure there's something similar with Digital cameras. Also, whatever is in the center of the viewfinder/lens is what is put into focus when you're in Autofocus (Nikon camera).
  3. I have a real nice Nachimo Cessna which unfortunately has two cracked rear windows for the same reason....all well, lesson learned. Is it possible to soak the clear parts in warm water and adjust the shape? I know you can with wings and such....but the clear parts are much more brittle.
  4. I keep seeing this kit.....what are your thoughts about the quality? It's the only game in town....but I'm still on the fence about buying it.
  5. Buying all those kits is caused by the Plastic fumes in the Hobby Shop. I know this for a fact, because it happens to me every time I go to the LHS.
  6. Wow! That's FANTASTIC! How did you get over your AMS?.....I"m kinda stuck myself. What kind of paints/weathering/finishes did you use? I really like the look.
  7. I believe Tamiya did a couple 1/100 scale helicopters a long time ago....I think the "crane" was one of them.
  8. VERY cool. I like the variety of subjects too....
  9. Wow....I'll be lucky if I can get two done in a year.
  10. Geez....I flew into Denver once and stayed a week and had no idea there was such a cool museum there! All well....next time. Thanks for sharing the photos!
  11. Fantastic work! I love it!!!!
  12. I think we need a step-by-step commentary on how he did the painting/weathering.
  13. I saw this kit at a local hobby shop last weekend.....I thought it looked great AND the price is just right! I also saw a TA-7 which looked very nice (1/72.....it might be a rebox?).
  14. Wow! Which seat did you use? I can't figure out which is the correct one to use for the early F-4E
  15. EXCEPT......that darn F-4 "Betty Lou" which had a "70" prefix, but the aircraft was at Korat in 1969.
  16. I agree! Great job Keith!
  17. Tamiya! I really didn't like the fit of the Monogram kit, but I must admit that my son was building it so some of the prep work to help with the fit may have been overlooked.
  18. I'll definately get a set! When things get tough at the building desk, I've been known to break out an Egg Plane just for the fun of it. I get more comments from people about the Egg Planes than I do my other finished models........Uh Oh......now that I think about it, that doesn't say much about my other models! Yikes!
  19. Neat looking models on this website! Thanks for sharing it!
  20. eeeeeeeewwwwwww.....Yuck. I like the idea of using the string to remember to put it back in!
  21. FANTASTIC! Thanks for sharing them!
  22. Great picks of a great aircraft!
