Kinetic RCAF 100th Anniversary scheme being released by Kinetic!
Scooby replied to Scooby's topic in Jet Modeling
He has most of the schemes that reached decal form. My good friend Jim who designed the majority of the schemes last told me he designed and painted I think over 160 special schemes for the RCAF. -

Tutor will sell well worldwide and Canada numbers will drown Raymond in dollars. -
Fully understand many airframes are designed to counter rotate, I was referring to the E & H Hercs.

Wow, I’m speechless, what an awesome build. I don’t think I’ve seen a nicer build.

We need CP-140 decals in Canada, this is a popular aircraft in our skies.

They definitely all spin the same way. I used to adjust the synchrophaser manually in the cockpit until they went to solid state electronics. These adjustments automatically synchronizes all propellers so that they rotate at the same speed. It cut down on vibrations and increased crew comfort and efficiency. I can’t imagine if one engine was spinning in another direction. That would be a nightmare.

Nice work Alf, your father was a spitting image of you. My son loves the book and loved the note at the front! Craig came home unexpectedly this week as he wasn’t scheduled to fly for three days. He goes back tomorrow.

1-32 Tamiya Spitfire Mk IXc with Quinta Studio interior decal

Yes, the training system is in shambles. I don’t think our military has every been as neglected as it is now. Justin wants to outperform Pierre. We know a recent MRU grad that was told it would be 2-3 years before he starts his Harvard training. I’m not sure my son will have the patience to wait for the RCAF. He did the math on 68 hours per month X 12 months X 9 years and saw where he’d be at with the airlines. Just saw your book review, can I PM you to get a signed copy for my son? -

Hard to believe they are looking so bad, I blame the current serving for embracing the changes as much I blame the higher ups for allowing the change. They did pull back on the regulations although last weekend I see not all have adapted, the good news is they all don’t look like clowns from Duck Dynasty. I think they have until September 1st to adapt to the new regulations. -

I attended the Cold Lake airshow this weekend, I’m sure I saw a lot of pilots who served in your era. Hawnsky of course, I see him at least once a month though. My son successfully completed aircrew selection, then turned them down. He is currently at Mount Royal University in their aviation program. Obtained his power wings at 17 with air cadets, completed year one at MRU, to get ahead he completed his multi-engine rating this summer and is now back at MRU on their summer flying incentive, two months early. After this weekend and meeting ex-Hornet drivers he might revi -
What year was this? I probably served with the demo pilot.

Eagle Cals have a 1/32 Buzz Beurling Spit Mk IX decals sheet, missing on the above decal sheet is the kill markings on the nose. Nice build! -

Hey Alf, great to see you building. You must be settled in your new home in Montreal. I know why your panels didn’t line up perfectly, the firewall needs to be pushed fully back on the tabs, any slight misalignment of the firewall will result in panels that don’t fit, I almost didn’t have my firewall properly seated. -
Springbank is cancelled so they can attend Oshkosh. Big deal for us as it is the 100th anniversary of the RCAF, we want to showcase at Oshkosh.

Yes, just announced by Kinetic. -
This guy is the absolute worst in the industry, examples of him ripping off hobby members is all over the internet. As were his mug shots and the charges he faced, I’m sure he was in prison for a period of time for another matter.
