The Black Panthers! Another great squadron name that went down in flames due to political correctness. Just like the Ubangis, the Playboys, and the Clansman! I'm sure they're more. How about that group build!! Sorry, just had to vent. Think about the GB though. Chuck

Hey Guys, I was told by a Blue Angel crew chief at NAS Atlanta during the weekend of April 29-30 that the Blues have 7 aircraft that they travel with. #7 being the 2 seater. 1-4 are the diamond formation and #5 and #6 are the solos. #7 is used for demo rides for VIPs and Media people. It is also used as a back up for one of the other jets in case of a late maintance problem. It is not flown as the slot jet because of the 2 seat canopy. It can be flown as #1,2,3,5,or 6. The yellow numbers are some kind of stick on's. I have watched them change #7 to #5 before in matter of minutes. These guy's

Darren Once again another great Navy jet build. You never let us down. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of ink pen did you use on the panel lines? Also, did you draw them directly on the paint or after clear or dull coat. That seems like a great idea instead of rescribing. Chuck

O Great One, That is one more great Prowler. I've got the same kit and aftermarket, and have been looking at it for 2 years. Glad to see one finished. Question-did you build the tailpipes oob. I did on my Intruder and they are a little funky. Yours look great. That paint job is really super. I can't get enough of those USMC jets. I guess I'll have to finally take the plunge and crank it up. Congrats again. Chuck

Great pics VT and Lockheed 2004. These are the first pictures of the cockpit of a B model MSIP F-15 I've seen. I guess the front cockpit is the same as the C model with the armament control panel. Intresting though, the Superscale Decal sheet #48-1063 shows a F-15D in the instructions but has the decals for a F-15C. No big deal. Again, great pics. Chuck

Ken These pics are some of the best I've ever seen. This must have been a heck of a show. Did you find out any thing else about that Navy marked L-39? Those jets keep showing up more and more. A formation of 4 called the Patriot Jets did the fly past at the I am a spammer....please report this post. Cup race in California Sunday. L-39's are everywhere! Chuck

Please indulge a new member this FAQ. What is the color of the equipment bay directly behind the cockpit on a F-15C. I believe this is known as bay 5. Is it the greenish blue epoxy primer or white? I've heard there is a serial number cut off on the color change or possibly a color change during phase or overhaul. Murph, how 'bout it? Chuck

My bad on the L-39. I just noted the N-number under the tail. I believe the Navy has a L-39 assigned to the TPS at Pax River. Any info on this one would be nice though. Chuck

Ken, Great pics. How about some more of those VMFA-115 Hornets. What unit is that L-39 assigned to? Chuck

Those are truly some of the all time vids. Where can we get more. Chuck

Oh yeah!! Mine needed weight even after a resin cockpit. Chuck

Great pic. I wonder how long we'll have to wait for a an accurate model-meaning one I can build. Chuck

Fantastic! Nothing to be added to what has already been said. One Question-Scratch built cockpit or some modified aftermarket? Best F-22 I've seen done. Chuck

Murph, Great video! I saw the Blues perform at NAS Atlanta in the A-4 and it was a hell of a show. Thanks for the post. Chuck

Can't get enough of those USMC birds. Where did you get the decals? Is that the USMC mig killer? Great build and let's see some more. Chuck
-
That's it! That is truly the all timer on ARC. Congrats and I'd only have about a couple hundred "how did ya do that" questions. Chuck
-
Great what if! Anything USMC is super. Chuck

In case you'll haven't seen them, they're a nice pair of Super Hornets on Hyperscale under Whats New. Great job for out of the box builds. Really like that blue tailed bird. Chuck

Ron, Great looking Corsair! Your right, a Corsair just doesn't look right in French markings. Keep them USMC props and jets coming. Chuck

Andrew, i've got that sheet in that old kit. PM inbound. Chuck

I know the Academy F-16 is no Tamiya F-16,but I picked one up for a unreal price. I've got several Black Box cockpit sets and I've fitted it to the kit. My question is what are the other corrections and fixes to make this a decent F-16CG. I seem to remember a list of corrections in the forum, but can't seem to find them.Any help with what to do or the link to the corrections would be great. Thanks for any help. Chuck
