Do you have more kits than you'll ever be able to build?
Two Mikes replied to Scooter Man's topic in General Discussion

So based on the second pic (please excuse my ignorance), is Discovery a larger vehicle? It apprears to be larger in nearly every respect.

I would be happy to take you up on that offer!! :)

Not teasing!! I spoke to my buddy and master maker Gabe Pincelli at the nats last week and he is very keen to do this tank. We also have another Hawk item coming very soon as he gave me the master at the nats. Stay tuned, we love the Hawk over here at Two Mikes!!

A sad day in the New Zealand aviation world

It is a truly tragic incident and my thoughts go out to the gentlemans family and friends. On another note about the C-130, one thing that is very dangerous about it is for the ground crew launching them, especially at dawn, dusk and night time. The propellor blades can literally hypnotize you if you are looking at them. I have heard stories of guys walking towards them and having to be jarred back by fellow ground personell. Not sure how true it is but I have been told that on more than one occasion. -
Seamless intakes are coming in the next month or so.

I was amazed at the dirt coming from the exhaust. I think it is safe to say he fodded the engine! Great pics but like everyone else says, glad he is ok.

Looks like it was built from Legos!!

I will take it. PM sent. -
Plastic and paint equals a VERY BAD environment for fish and/or crustacens!! It will leech off of the plastic and literally poison your tank. Super Glue, Tamiya cement etc will also all do the same. Your tank may recreate the ocean but it is NOT millions of miles of water, it is about 50 square feet so the paint, plastic and glue will not be diluted. I would hate for you to lse your wildlife but eventually you will. I have rasied fish for the better part of 20 years and understand the biogy of the ecosystem you have them in. It also does not matter if it is acrylic, enamel or laquer paint. Jus

I a sorry to hear about that Jennings. It is never easy having to make that choice but sadly it is one all of us pet owners have to do at some point. She has had a great life and I am sure she appreciates the love and care you give her all the way til the end. My sincere condolances.

Generally you are able to enter your models starting on Wednesday and they accept registrations until Friday late afternoon. Judging is done Friday night and the banquet is Saturday night. You are not able to remove your model(s) until after the awards banquet on Saturday night. Once you drop your models off you can go and do as you please as they staff the model room the entire time and it is normally locked after hours. Basically, if you want to leave early and take your models, you cant. You have to wait until the banquet is over Saturday night. HTH Mike

Yeah, I laughed out loud at that!! My wife looked at me funny and I told her that if the LEM was still there, so was Buzz Aldrin......and then HE showed up! HA! Still great, mindless entertainment. I stand by my statement that this was the best one yet. They blew the snot out of Chicago!! :)

IMHO it was by far the best of the three movies. If you go in thinking there is going to be this amazing story and all the plot holes will be filled then you are in for a disappointment. These movies are all abot the hero, the girl and the robots. Nothing more. I think the attempt at a good story was admirable (no worse than the Star Wars plots) and the movie was visually stunning. I didn't want it to end. I do want to know how Megatron came back and if this one s going to be the last installment.
