Cool site with pic's of Bone Yard 1968 most in color

Wow.... what an awesome site. I just went through two cups of coffee going through all those boneyard pictures. He also has great pictures from a bunch of other European airbases / airports, circa early 60's. Much still to see.

by the way... is anyone knows what is the (paint/pitch) that partially covers planes? (or what is the entire process for covering canopy/intakes/and many seams...)
