I love the 5th FIS post so much I think we need a spot for all F-106's! I'd love to see some unique shots and if you all have the time to post them here please also send them to Erv Smalley and Marty Isham at http://www.convairf-106deltadart.com/ and Pat McGee at http://www.f-106deltadart.com/

Dig out and scan your unique F-106 photos and be sure to see Erv's site for the one's he needs! Even if it's a shot of a tail number he already has he will take it. This is his list...

"Photo Help Requested

We could use some help on finding or upgrading photos for the following 23 aircraft:

57-0242, 57-2462, 57-2474, 57-2484, 57-2488, 57-2489, 57-2511, 57-2534, 57-2542, 58-0762, 58-0771, 58-0794, 58-0798, 59-0013, 59-0017, 59-0029, 59-0039, 59-0045, 59-0050, 59-0087, 59-0113, 59-0120, 59-0139"

Here's some shots taken at Fairchild AFB, WA in 1981 of 318th and 186th FIS Sixes during the Armed Forces Day Open House...

I just shot a bunch of pics of 59-0137 out at Pinal Airpark. She's disassembled right now, but should be back in presentable condition soon. I'll post these and a few other Six pics soon!

Hey, those would be cool too as documentation of the rebuild! Pat and Erv would love 'em!

Me as a Civil Air Patrol Cadet sitting in the cockpit of 56-0466 belonging to the 318th FIS at McChord AFB, WA in 1981. What a cool experience!

And 25 years later in September 2006 at the dedication ceremony of 56-0461 painted as 57-0231 at Sawyer IAP, MI

59-0069 painted as 57-2492 with 186th FIS, Montana ANG markings on display at Great Falls IAP, MT. This is my favorite of several photos I took on 24 June 2005 while driving through GF.

As a matter of fact I think I need to use this pic as my Windows background again! What a cool pic! coolio.gif

And taken just a few seconds later from a different angle...

Nice Delta Dart pics everyone. Those were the good old days when the USAF used a little more color on their planes.

It just makes me sick to see my old squadron sitting in the salvage yard like that. Where did yu take the shots of balls 5? It looks like it might have been Nellis or maybe Davis-Monthan. We used to keep a det at DM.

I have put pictures of the Kittens in the 5th FIS posting already. I'll get some more posted.

Ah the duck tour at Tyndall when they left us out under a tent in a rather rowdy thunderstorm complete
with lighting hits around the area. The weather aborts created some unique photo opportunities along with
really wet shoes. biggrin.gif

Oh yeah, remember it well. I hate it when my socks get wet!

Remember the start-up on the 48th FIS Six? Startled the heck out of me!

Not sure where those were taken, I picked them up off ebay awhile back.
